Honestly I don't see the problem with giving you your money back and deleting your account(s) for our hassle. PM me your name and I'll speak to Carl, it's really up to him. In the future realize donation means donation, any organization on planet earth is not going to refund donations.

I'm going to speak to Carl, people trying to cheat the donation system is getting ridiculous. IMO you need to sign a waiver stating that if you reverse a donation your account and all items tracked to your account will be forfeit. (Yes, items have a unique id assigned to them when spawned and are trackable to your account.)

The stuff that needs fixing will be fixed today. You can;t update 100,000 lines of code and not expect to have any issues. We tried to do the best we could but it is improving.

As far as Carl goes, he's on everyday. I talk to him every day and he actually does a lot of work himself. You can think what you want but that doesn't make it so.

Have you had your bachelor with honors?Guess not...Have you ever been on any uni at all?Guess not...M.Sc?Guess not!And I'm guessing 16-17yo? Better think before talking to someone with almost twice your age,degrees in computing science and experience with such servers and communities. Anyways, decided not to withdraw the donation, but unfortunately, this is deeper than you guys think. It took nearly 10 pages to have answer from a dev or somethin (yea,nerves to call themselves devs), maybe next time will be you in my shoes.

Also, you personally brought this onto a public forum. You did not directly send this to Carl, Karissa, or any of the other Gamez-Aion staff (Co-admin would be a great option as well). So of course you will get opinion's galore on this thread.

I think you waving around the fact you have some education just really irritated me. I am in the faculty of Medicine and you don't see me waving that around like I am holier than thou.

Fact is a degree is paper, without a person behind it... it is no more than fodder for a fire.

While I agree with OP's complains, I find that waving degrees around is plain stupid. I didn't go to some fancy college and I am sure many of you would wish to have my lifestyle. In fact, Bill Gates dropped out of college, and warren buffet had his own unique philosophy about it. College and degrees just get you jobs for other people. Its a way to enslave you in labor tbh. So lets hijack this thread and make it about college.

You would be surprised at the education and stories of some of the richest people in the world . And true geniuses also do not cope well in school.

 

Depends on who you mean, some people are brilliantly talented in a non-academic fashion. But, some geniuses have passion's and brillaince in an area where you require education.

 

Yea,but you are talking about 0.00000001% of the world and its a matter of luck. Unfortunately, I would put my money on hard work, better chances. Or taking credit for someone else's work,that seems to work too!

 

If you are talking about medicine or law, then school is important. I find so much wrong with the american school system though... I went into a business that requires basic rudimentary math. Honestly, for most professions, the stuff they teach is plain stupid. I always laughed when we got "no calculator" stuff. Cuz calculators are not allowed in the real world right?

I guess I am in the .000000001% then. I used to skip school and classes, fall asleep, etc. I just found it boring. IMO, being able to cheat at school in creative ways was much more "intelligent" than memorizing facts in a book.
