Add 1 more server selection.

I think it would be good if Carl add another server selection in-game. Because I think 1 server can't carry thousands of players playing the game and I think the reason of the server keeps crashing is because it is over loaded of players and it is compressed in 1 server only.

 

To do that, I think the server needs better hardware. outy:

um ur missing the point, 2 servers running from the same machine = as laggy as 1 server, he would have to pay for 2 server machines lol

i'd say GamezAion should try update their hardware and add another server (hardware) for better hosting IPs. Don't tell me there arent enough money about it. Even a simply second pc setup can support this. The only work that needs to be done is to implement a nice distributed system so that players will connect to the best available server with the less ping at that time.
That way even if the one of the 2 crash the other will still support the system.
The only perma extra cost would be the internet hosting.

Maybe they should you know, not host 12 different games off one server box? It would kind of help this "hardware" problem you speak of.

 

There's CrystalAion, but it's a huge fail

 

i'd choose to upgrade the current hardware instead of getting another physical server and just running another aion server there. and yes, i agree, less players = no fun. keeping it this way is much better.

 

TBH there are more than enough players on Gamez, a reduction won't affect things much. Only problem is at least 50% of the players stay in sanc/panda Dueling and really all they are is a waste of bandwidth...

You guys missing the point what I meant is just add another server selection in the server selection screen in-game, means you can switch servers either of those 2 w/ your main characters, I don't meant creating a new server that you will start a new character leveling etc etc. I am only suggesting a new server selection which is in the client of Gamez Aion. Because it is really to get rid of lags >,>

 

it's about quantity not quality..

 

If everyone just stopped dueling in Heiron and Reshanta, the lag wouldnt be so bad. GO PVP people.

 

id rather have more fixes and events rather than another server. just imo.
