[SUGGESTION] Ascension quest

Hello.
I want to suggest, when u reach level 9, to open a window in which you choose your class (eg: SM or Sorc), without doing the Ascension quest, because we can safe time without it, and reach level 55 faster.

This has been implemented on other private servers and it's very effective.

This used to be how it was here, you would just "Decend" when you pick your class with /setclass This however was removed Gamezaion as it could be bugged and did bug people characters a lot, and really how long does the quest take? It's not too difficult.

theres an alternative to this. u dont need a /setclass command, u can simply remove steps from the quest chain and set class directly through a conversation with the npc (as it should be). u just skip all the cutscenes and "boss" fight

i.e. when u hit lvl 9 the quest autostarts, but starts at the same objective u have after beating the "boss". so the only thing u do is walk up to him in poeta/ishalgen, tell him what class u r and let him teleport u to sanctum/pandaemonium pretty straight forward

 

This is new news to me I was unaware, sorry Still got some things to relearn I guess

its just a suggestion but it should be rather simple to implement

well this is the only mandatory quest ingame (unless abyss is required now) but everybody HAS to do this. the game can still be retail like in terms of gameplay and features, but it can save people time on this HIGH rate server lolz

the server is advertised as a pvp server a mandatory quest to let u do anything in the game isnt exactly a pvp feature lol

 

Sure it will be more fast without make all the ascencion quest, but I think the staff have a lot of more important things to think about.
So I agree with Lozdy

 

just make ascension maps become free fly again
