Can we have some info on any possible ping fix since 2.7 please?

Think its been quite a while now, but nothing has been said about ping problems since 2.7. I basically just wanna know so I know whether its worth waiting for. There have been few threads on it. Ping since 2.7 is a joke for alot of players.

I reported it as a bug ages ago in thread above, but nothing since, so I and probably lots of others want to know if has been acknowledged by gamez staff and is it being worked on? Cos it is kinda impossible to pvp when 1 second you see someone, 2 seconds and a lag spike later you are on 1k hp lol.

I'd say to move the host to Europe, Germany or England.

 

Its the only reason i don play as much lately, the lagg spikes keep killing me in pvp. T_T

 

yes, it has been acknowledged by the staff and they said its being worked on since few days after the 2.7 update

My ping is fine. Nothing changed from day one until now.

I'm always sub 50. With the occational spike to 80.

Change nothing.

If your ping is broken, change providers.

If its still broken, log off and dont come back.

Have a good day.

i also have this ping problem since 2.7. guess its an EU problem.

till then, i have a lot of fun on retail.

 

Yeah.... i remember when i was having 140 ping [from europe]..... and now its like 270-320¬

what a lame thread this. here in my place we have a 600-1k ping. 300 ping here we can do much and improve our performnce. what the big deal of 380+ ms ping when your ping hit in 180+ everytime.

look at lhuv. he has 800ms most of the time. he never complains.

 

wow, u have nice ping to me. i always have 350+ms with ping software. wanna switch ? ^o^

 

If You'd be playing with my Ping Issues, You'd probably quit. mine doesn't only cause delay or freezes momentarily, it does both of that very often, but the biggest WTF is when everyone seems to stop, and I'm the only one moving my buffs stops at 0, I cant buff IDK whats happening, and as soon as it's back to normal I'm dead, Wings folded, face to the ground. And I have to deal with it everyday.. That's the reason why i don't play that much anymore.

 

i thought they fixed it yesterday since there was a restart on the server but it didnt and it is still teh same...having 900+-1000+ ping everytime i go online is pretty annyoing...hope they'll fix it soon..

 

True .... after the 2.7 update i have almost 200-250ms .. now i have around 450ms or 550 that sucks and is hard to play with an assassin with that =/

 

I would also appreciate to get the freakin glide bug fixed. I think i've lost almost 1m AP because of it.

 

this cant be fixed by a server restart, its an issue with the server files has to be fixed in the code

 

To jasper, betamax and eagln: Please don't write **** in my thread. If you or your friends like playing with spikes then fine, but alot of us don't. Especially when it was fine before 2.7. So the thread is here to see if there is a fix (which smartik says they are). Besides the point, its not just high ping, its freezing, read fuzzyhalls post. You think 1 ss speaks for it all? It was just an example. it can spike to 1k easy. Best if you just be quiet if you got nothing useful to say.

 

u wont know ppl's feeling until u r in their shoes, rite? more than 50% of players r playing with high ping. and there were already threads about this problem. more thread wont help it either. it's Dev's job to work on this problem and i think they have been doing. u can choose to play as a high ping player or be off till it get fixed.
