Forts

Ok so I am getting back into this server and checking everything out. I am on Siels (Asmo) and while in game i see a lot of high level, great geared players. Coming from retail I like the fact that PvP is a must here, cause I never got my main character where I wanted her to be. But then I look at our fort situations and we are seriously lacking.
So what I am thinking is why doesn't all these players with their great gear come together and take some forts, especially the inner forts. I see a lot of Legions recruit players who already are geared and such so I know there has to be independent players that can join in on the raids. Do the Legions just not talk to one another? or is it a matter of lack of participation? I am not in my home time zone so I am not on when the majority of the population is on, but I would still like to see some sort of progress in game events. PvP is all well and good but aint shit if you got nada to show for it...

 

imagine. asmos aka zergers take all 4 forts in inggsion,gelkmaros = everyone one quits cuz there would be no normal pvp. its better to give them to balaur = pvp uber epic.

 

gotta love the level of hypocrisy around here xD both sides zerg, both sides spawn camp, both sides have hackers/scammers/beggars etc, yet those who play a race always act innocent while blaming the other side ^^

But I am not saying that we or Elyos can take every fort... But I mean coming from retail I'd like to run some fort instances a lil bit and I can't even do that... well for one I am not in a Legion so it's hard for me to do anything and two we don't own any good forts... I mean dang everyone we have on the server I'm pretty sure we can occupy at least 2/3 inners...

Where you make a valid point, fort raids just aren't what people want to do. We get enough of that zerging pvp already, some of us just want to do a 3-4 man group raid against 10-15 people. Maybe if gamez offered more of an incentive we might decide to take the forts, but as of now there is no need. Doing the plat quests are pointless because of being able to create a character and leveling it to 55 in 18 minutes and getting 10 plats. You can find plenty of pvp in gelkmaros, inggson, reshanta, heiron, and belusulan. Sometimes you find too much pvp and are overwhelmed by zergers. The pvp changes from retail, trust me. There are a whole bunch more out there, and a whole less need for static events like dregion, fort raids and shard wars.
