aion bin problem

Every time i try to start game it says

Please reinstall GamezAion with the correct path, aion.bin not found!

how can i fix this

 

run ur ncsoft launcher, right click aion in the games list -> properties -> browse and locate aion.bin in ur aion\bin32 folder

 

Smarti where's that guide to put music on profile , i cant find it ><

and then run the game? the whole error is coz ncsoft launcher doesnt see where ur game is installed. u basically just told it where the game folder is

ok got the log in page but it locks up when i put name and password in.

 

ask daax (post above) to give u the 2.7.0.0 bin32 folder, gamezaion has issues with the latest 2.7.0.1 version

ok downloaded that got the cliet server started then it says wrong country so I follow what the website says to do for this problem and when I try to repair it wants to go back to the 2.7.0.1 version

 

um...make sure ur ncsoft launcher region is set to north america. if its set to europe, ull have to change to NA and repair. after that u can downgrade and it wont say anything

if it was set to NA already, try right click the launcher and run as administrator

 

set ncsoft to NA , repair then replace the bin 32 , install launcher in aion folder and start

 

slowpoke xD btw seems like u dont need the launcher again, seems like it doesnt replace the d3d8thk.dll in ur bin32 folder anymore. a friend wanted to play retail and said repair didnt fix anything, but deleting this file manually did.

 

it was already set for NA so I tried as administrator and it still says wrong country.....is this because I bought this game through Steam?

 

uh open document named "version.ini" and set version 2.7.0.0

 

Click on "Uninstall" in your NCSoft launcher - problem solved

 

wtf u bought the game??? if u paid for it then u probably paid for a retail account lol

it doesnt change anything besides making ncsoft launcher think ur version is the latest. the only advantage is that it wont annoy u with auto updates (u should turn them off anyway)

theres 1 more thing u can try. theres an ip_restrictions_fix we used back in 2.1
no_ip_restriction.exe

its a self extracting rar archive that adds IpFixModule.dll and replaces d3dx9_38.dll in ur bin32 folder (so u might wanna backup the original). its a dll proxy that makes the game think ur in another country. idk if it still works but cant hurt to try
