DirectX Error

I'm having an error when i launch the game so it crashes. the error says "" The installed version of DirectX is not supported by Aion. Aion requires DirectX9 june 2008 or later."

i downloaded and installed this(Download: DirectX End-User Runtime - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details) but didnt help, anyone has any idea?

it says version 9.29.1974 published this year, hmm

this is the one i give other people, its june 2010 and works for them, u can give it a try, hopefully it wont tell u its too old coz of the other one

if u try run aion from ur ncsoft launcher it might tell u more, sometimes that helps

this error can also be caused by some files in ur bin32 folder, we can get to that later

btw after installing the directx, u gotta restart ur pc otherwise its not applied yet

did it even let u try install this 1? did u try running aion from ur ncsoft launcher?

u might wanna try grabbing some1 elses bin32 folder, this is the 1 for 2.7.0.0 from daax
downgrade.zip

replace ur bin32 folder with this one and change ur version.ini in the main aion folder to 2.7.0.0 (btw disable automatic updating in ur ncsoft launcher first, its a pain)

still havent said if u tried running through ncsoft launcher. sometimes gamez says get 9.0c and ncsoft says get the latest (dont ask me why, it cant even use it)

u can also try right click -> run as administrator

btw what OS do u use?

 

i tried openning via nc launcher yes. no help..and i dont know what is OS ?

yeh..it sucks.. but thank you so much for being this helpful. i ll download another client from gamershell ,the client 2.5, i ll update it with launcher to 2.7 and try it again.

 

update using the repair function, its better coz it checks all the files u downloaded as well in case some r corrupt

 

lol wtf, i*** aion works perfectly but gamez doesnt? this is something new...

LOOOOL the game works now, installed i*** aion launcher and then reinstalled gamezaion launcher and now it works perfectly, except one thing, game is korean now o.o

oh fr the korean part...delete L10N folder , repair client get bin 32 from version 2.7.0.0 open version.in file and ....play

 

oh that probably explains a lot lol. question: do u use 2 separate clients? or play both private servers from 1

nah hes just trying to understand a problem, not trying to convince people to play another server
