How to stop zergs.

    Well this is only suggestion, but I've been thinking of a way to reduce zerging. Take it for what you will, accept it or not. I devised a few obstacles to block certain parts of pvp that induce zerging.

    First the causes of zerging are:
    • The opposite race regularly returning to the same spot, meaning the other race will sit and wait for them.
    • Large groups ganging up on one player.
    • Completely out gearing and opponent and choosing to team up on them.
    • 2 Groups going at it and players decide to leave one side, making one side bigger than the other.
    • People running from fights back to npc safe areas and ending up with other players who run there.
    So I have a suggestion for each.
    • To stop the first if possible, put an npc that constantly damages the opponent under hot zerg spots (such as in Padma's cave there are mobs that attack you when close in his vicinity, but are inattackable. Or the invisible gates that used to be at the gates prior to the 2.7 update). This will stop people from constantly standing and gathering at one spot that gives them an advantage over the other race. Such spots include the Gelk crossroad on Vorglatem Battlefield and the bridge area in front of Temple of Scales.
    • For this one, it's nearly impossible to do anything about it. Perhaps if a player is attacked by more than 5 people, they lose no ap, so they won't rage quit.
    • For the third, perhaps make a safe area(zones) for these "noobs" to level or grind or their own. Or perhaps make channels in Inggison and Gelkmaros like there is in Verteron, Theobomos, Altgard, etc.
    • This is my largest suggestion. Similar to how dredgion only allows a certain limit of people and it tells you how many people are in each group, make zones(as referred to in the above suggestion) that will tell the other race how many are in the other parties group or simply allow an equal amount of players in the zone at once, where if one player leaves, a player from the other party is automatically kicked. (Or make dredgion work).
    • Finally, since people gear up and base their stigmas and what not for pvp. Remove all protective npcs. Since artifacts don't work, their is no need for the npcs that guard them. As well as with the forts, since their is no use for npcs when the fort isn't vulnerable, remove them when the fort becomes invulnerable. Similar to how the Silentra exits put people on cliffs, make the teleporters to the forts leave the player in an area unreachable by the other race. Also, make this area have a limit to prevent zergs from forming. Perhaps make it to where once one teleport area is full, another will be put in use. (Also stop other races from being able to go through their home map exit in Silenra, you know so kisks stop being killed...yet again hurting pvp).
    As I said these are just my suggestions, take them as you will.

    Im Controlling Elyos In undirborg , I mean, 5-6 Elyos is Having Fun killing me in undirborg alone instead of zerging their azzes.

    This thread is more for Lumiel than Siel. Idk how the pvp is there. Last I checked it had a lot more soloers and small parties there then here.

    you know that most zergers don't even care about such suggestions or have their Forum account just for trades etc. they enjoy zerging in lumiel. I joined the zergs of lumiel too to see wtf is that and it is really boring.

    I am from those that support those suggestions for lumiel

    GamezAion will never fix the zerging problem. The problem is that there are too many noobs that think they have skill when they run around and gank people 25:1. See those idiots spamming "TRRC!!!," or "WOOF@!!!!" after every kill? Yeah, that's who I'm talking about.

    GamezAion is tailored to the needs of little kids. Want the best armor ingame? You don't have to work for it! You can have it if your dad's wallet is big enough. But don't expect anything but special items if you donate to Carl, he doesn't give a rat's ass about this server and he never will. It's very sad to see that someone like him receives so much money from such a low-quality server like this.

    1)large group will be able to kill that npc, if npc is immortal then it much more useless cuz people will hide behind this npc when they are attacked by someone
    2)being killed by a bunch of noobs rages me more then lost ap

    The thing is, I don't think your suggestions would help... Even though i would like them to.

    Tbh even on retail there is a fair bit of zerging, If you go for random pvp in pvp zone's, You really just have to accept the fact that you might get zerged.

    What leads to zerging on the two servers, is the fact that player's are unskilled, So they need to group together to get some sort of satisfaction.

    A simple solution, Would be to make arena's & dredgion work. Of course this is not for ''Solo's''. Since aion isn't a game made for solo PvP.

    I agree to this. Putting more instances would reduce zerg in certain areas. Why? Because people would rather do instances other than pvp. This would actually work when we have more instances. If you want some pvp in an instance, arena would be the answer to this because of its group vs group battle.
