Wonder if this will be considered as hack on Gamez.

 

I'd say its more abusing bugs than hacking.

Well it doesnt work just like the video on gamez, i've tried couple, since it was legit to use it in kAion, and it wouldn't shoot me up as high as it does in the video. Would only lift me up like 20m.

on gamez, u will get a ban but on retail no1 cares about that : o

 

on NA retail, even going into Zone1 w/ legit method can get u banned. (after warnings) But in kAion, all bugs resulted from Dev's point is not the player's issue to worry.

Just like vertical glide is considered as legit here, why wouldnt this be considered as legit? Trust me, its not easy to do, as it shows haha.

 

well, i quitted from retail in 2.0 dunno that with the first zone but i heared that my mate went there often :'D

 

o i went there ALOT wen 2.0 was out. But they started doing a "protected zone" stuff when too many ppl started QQing.

yeah its a bug abuse and all but.. i do miss those times when asmos were able to invade igg city.. and place kisks high up in the mountain to avoid camping.. had lots of fun fighting them back then. same for gelk.. gms should remove those "outpost doors" there so ppl have more ground to walk and spread out the pvp, also remove those unnesesary npcs at those "outposts" to reduce lag, only leave 5 npcs : 2 in the entrance ( range npcs) 1 mele tanking 1 in the middle and 2 ranged ones on the other side .. that should make things easier for both races.

 

They still can get to Zone 1 - ingi fortress. Just like how elyos can get to gelk fortress. And it is considered as "legit".

 

But its hard to get there T_T

 

The updraft shown in video is extremely hard to do as well, and we only get 20~30m updraft at most.

 

its really hard to get there.. enough to discourage ppl from doing it and go back to zerging at fort places.. the hunting spirit is dead here. i remember b4 i left certain server that went empty .. i used to spend hours looking for asmos in all the maps.. and even if i found 1 or 2 it was a lot more fun than fighting zergs here. :sad:

While that is neat and all.

It would be considered bug abuse here. As it is abusing a terrain feature to exploit an updraft that can as far as I can tell, allow you to get rather far. How ever. There are legit ways to get to Ingg fort and as far as I am aware as well as Gelk fort that do not abuse the updrafts / terrain as much I know some who do know how to get there as well.

But, the short of it is. If this is done, it would be investigated and if the player could replicated it albeit I am sure it won't be the easiest thing to replicate they would get a warning to not use it again and from there it would progress. I am sure you all can see how on Gamez it would be seen as something which it wasn't.
