Donations

I noticed theirs no real thank you for donating on their server... Like no forums header that says you donated just your credits.. hmm I thought their would be a bit more for donating but I guess their is not.

A real benefit would be nice. Because I can chill and wait to vote for credits. Donating for credits does not seem the appealing when you think about it

 

Well, actually, I donated because the server's staff deserves it.
The staff members are doing a great job.

You are not forced to donate...
It's a donation, after all.

 

I agree with Fright, The staff DOES deserve it, Thats why I am going to be donating here in the near future.

 

I kinda lol'd. The first reason I laughed is because a lot of your post is based on misconception. Secondly, if you honestly donated for that reason, I would expect you to give your credits away for free. And to OP, most donators want to stay anonymous. It seems as if you brag that you have money to give away if you ask for a title. Hence why I like those anonymous donators to hospitals, but then when I see "so and so"'s wing because of donating, I feel sickened.

Good reading skills. I said I dislike people who donate to "gain fame" anywhere. You donate because you want to, not so that you can get a wing in your honor or a bolded title. To me that is skewed.

No... I dislike people like the OP who are saying they demand something that sets them off as a donator such as a bolded title on the forums. In game stuff is usually remodelled, and donators can still remain anonymous in game. that is besides the point

Yeah. I will tell you my metaphor. Its like donating to a hospital. You do it to help. You may want preferencial treatment when it comes to surgeries and waiting lists later on, but to do it simply to have a wing named for you so you can gain fame is stupid and messed up.

 

I thought it was funny when the guy said that Staff gets money.... Lol they don't get paid you fool.

The server donations go more then likely straight to the Owner lol.

Yes I would feel Sickened to if someone donated MILLIONS of dollars to help build a hospital and wanted a little recognition for it lol Idiot. Never heard anyone becoming famous for building a wing at a hospital how long have you been floating at sea on your fail boat?

 

And I could tell the guy's personality from the first post. Who says I am not good at that *glaces around*. And most donators to hospital are anonymous. And I like how you compared dying for your country or being a president to donating. It related ver well. And yeah only carl and aeon get the money

In game item's/glorification is fine... but forum header's and the rest are a bit eccentric... I never even understood them when Curse sent them out. Next thing we knew we had a bunch of snooty people everywhere cause their name was Cyan LOL.

 

I can't speak for other donors but myself when I say this. Before I donated to this server I made sure it was well populated and a as stable as they get. An MMORPG is worthless without a decent community. Ok so this server passed.

I then donated, not because it was stable and well populated (although that was needed before hand) I donated to get the gears with the least amount of work (due to time constraints). Now that I have the gears I can go straight to the PVP (it's what im here for) and not concern myself with anything else but pewpew.

See? I kept it simple.

Now, all the feelings and emotions that this may stir up has absolutely nothing to do with me. It has everything to do with those who feel the way they do about it all.

thats.. quite CAREBEARTHAT up for you to add there x_X.... but srly... if you donate you can spend the credits you get how ever the hell you want but if you want other special treatments go die in a hole , and ill be off now~ to play around with my shiny wings that are pink and my skittle colored armor.

I'm pretty sure anyone could chop off threehundred buck's if they were assed to do it enough.
