Final thread.

So this is my final thread about it if it wont work after this ill just stop trying and say bye bye to Aion...

I tried everything people said that i could do and it doesnt work.

my problem: I launch the gamez aion launcher and it starts up, ( yes it says online at the server status ) so when i typ in my acc login exct.. it freezes ( still got background movement and sound ).

I srsly have done everything people told me on the forum, tryed PMing AM's bud that didnt help me either.

so any final suggestions??? would love to hear them.

EDIT: I haven;t played at all on this server gaving this problem for like 6/7 days now..

what have they told u so far? ive seen directx do this among other things
Download DirectX 9.0c (Jun 10) - Download - FileHippo.com
install it then restart ur pc (install not just extract )

the problem with aion is that there r tons of errors and each can be caused by more different things

 

That's happened to me before. I wouldn't even make it to the character selection screen before it froze up/shut down. I ended up having to downgrade my client. But seeing as we're on 2.7 now, maybe all you need to do is make sure your gamez launcher is up to date.

 

I've got that installed already ( Directx 11 ) and also .net 4 )

and im not getting any error at all :S

People told me to:

Reinstall
Repair
Try Bin32 folder replace
Gamezaion.bat
install direct x
install .net 4
restarting PC
Allowing Aion files into antifirus
shutting down antifirus
Allowing ports

all those things didn't help, its also wierd im not even getting a single error, and i havent played yet so it aint my account i quess, even tryed to make a new account and it didnt help either :S

im seriously screwed hehe

 

I am currently using the launcher from the "Panel", tryed downgrade aswell and didnt work :S

that just means u really havent aion was built on and requires directx 9.0c to run ^^ just get it from the link i gave u

 

Ok strange..., i did Downgrade again and now i did login, im at the Select server screen now, havent been so far in 6 days :O, so now i dont see any servers, any solution to that?

thats 1 of the fixes for the login screen freeze, since u said u got to server select theres a chance its not directx related (again, different causes, same symptoms, aion sux lol)

Processor, 9500 Quad-core Processor ( 4 CPUs ), ~2.2GHz
4096MB Ram

 

its more than enough to run aion and yea win 7 doesnt come with directx 9.0c preinstalled, u have to add it later to play older games so if u havent be4 then there still is a chance thats ur cause (unless u played the game be4)

 

I did play the game be4 jsut another PS like 8 months ago, just installed Directx 9 now ill try it again.

Installed and rebooted PC, now i dont even get the Select server list anymore :S

 

hmm some1 like this showed up like a week ago. if aion ran fine then its not directx. and yea he tried everything too, another ps ran for him and this 1 didnt

 

Try to change your ip and use this directX:

Download: DirectX End-User Runtime - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details

Run your client in admin mode.

Is your NC launcher (retail) auto-updating? By default it is set to auto-update which would make any downgrading you did null and void. Maybe take the NC launcher out from start up programs and try again?

EDIT: tried that and also didn't work

 

well 2.7.0.1 works, it doesnt have login issues, just some people experience additional bugs (char creation tends to be a little weird on higher versions) but still, he would at least get on the server with that so it has nothing to do with downgrading or whatnot
