Opinion - A leader to each race..

I used to play AION on PS in my country. There were a so-called "leader" who can have access to announce/chat to everyone with the same race to him/her. It's simply like a leader in group when he talks to his group members then the text appears with orange color on the middle of the screen. I think it's really good, especially to tell his race where the enemy spot is exist. Like "Guys, many elyos/asmodian at here" bla bla bla.. or to give commando to attack the enemy..Besides leader, he/she could also have an assistant to help him or to give commando in case the leader is not online.In my country, the leader is selected every month by each race.. Of course GM should define some criteria to apply for this position. In my opinion, the criteria could be like these :1. Full ABG is a must.2. He/she must online in game at least 4 - 5 hours/day.3. He/she doenst have a track record of becoming hacker.4. The candidate must enclosed his/her "CV" , and tell us why we must choose him/her as our leader.After all, that's just my idea which comes up in my mind

You're basically giving someone the ability to alert people where small groups are so that you can bring 50+ of your faction to swarm them.

This is a terrible idea.

 

I like this idea. It's very simple and easy to implement as well.

Hmm , about zerging things.. We can't deny that it would actually happen, but at least the announcement would be centralized at one person. When one leader tell his faction to attack the enemy at one place, then the leader on the opposite faction would do the same thing, and ultimately it would be a real war, and it means no zerging. Well, it would be zerging at first, then the one who get killed by those enemies could whisper the leader where exactly the enemy spot is, the leader could ask his folks to revenge

 

bad and useless ? why should i listen to some abg nolifer and come zerg whenever he got raped ? and since when do we need a "leader"

Let me clear up few things to you. I suggested the 'race leader' thing like 1+ year ago when the server was still running on v1.5. You can find the thread in the archives...

The requirements you set there are total bullshit to me.

1- Why the leader should have full ABG? The set doesn't really make the difference. It's the skills, the tactics and the brain that make the difference in the game.

2 - You can't ever know if some got record as hacker. The IP is being changed easily.

3 - There should be open voting and it would be better if there would be more positions like: the Leader, the Vice Leader and the General so if someone is not online due to real life, the other can lead the race. The best criteria for the candidates would be the kills + the rank.

But considering that it wasn't done so far while we had 2+k population of players online... It won't happen now.

It would be awesome to have sieges working here and race Leaders to lead the zergs for more organized PvP. Also it would be cool to see every 3 days race fights for some prizes, like 2days increased drop rate for one of the races, or increased damage, etc. The thing is that here in Gamez, the staff is either lucking the motivation to bring fresh air to this old old server full of bugs, or they just don't care about improving it or they are just lazy. You pick what suits your believes better xD

I personally have seen numerous suggestions to end up in the heck hole aka trash bin of this forum.
