Player Transfer Inquiry

Hi, I would like to ask couple of questions in regards to player transfer service:- for example from Lumiel to Siel
1. Do all your characters get transferred to Seil if you have no characters already created there?
2. Dose your equipped gear on a character get transferred as-well?
3. Can you choose which faction you will be, by lets say selecting Elyos on Siel and when u get player transfer your asmo in Lumiel will a become Elys in Siel since thats what you pre-determined?
