New to Aion, now lvl 55, what to do next?

So I'm basically brand new to Aion. I'm a lvl 55 Glad now by doing the campaign quests I could. I'm presently using all Mist rental gear and dual-wielding swords because it looks cool. :lol: What to do next? Tried asking around in-game and someone said to go to do BT for pve gear and then keep voting/donating for ABG gear (which apparently is the best for pvp?). Does that sound right?

To be honest, it seems like a weird idea. Glads are supposed to be kind of tough but I get pretty worked just dealing with level ~48ish mobs while doing quests. Seems like jumping into BT with rental gear and no idea what to do is just wasting people's time?

Anyone want to give me some advice/help?

 

well they r right tbh many people pvp with stormwing too, its a good gear

the thing is in the past people went to core to get elder gear (u got like 2-3 pieces every kill) and did dark poeta for anuhart (which is bugged in so many ways its not worth trying now)

u can go to lower udas temple and udas temle to get the yellow lvl 52 set there if u like, but stormwing is better really. the thing is rental gear cant be enchanted, but enchanting gear gives u tons more hp


dont worry bout BT (beshmundir temple) too much. when the bosses get pissed they do 20k dmg which insta kills whoever its attacking regardless of armor u dont have to have aggro so yea ull be fine

Well there should be a healer and a tank with u in BT.
I would give it a shot and put your view detail off, so they can't see what gear u have.

btw: Isnt this the perfect reason why we need Starter gear. This is a highrate server. And let me quote:

So I just join groups looking for DPS right? I'm just dual wielding the rental swords at the moment, people seem to be saying thats the best DPS for a glad.

Also, where do I go to get pots (potions?) and scrolls that I need? Are there any other consumables that I might need as well?

And lastly, I was snooping around and saw some glads with EGT armor (elder guardian tribunu or something). Where does that drop? Or is that voter/donater stuff?

 

about that EGT /EAT stuff its from pvping you need do a lot of pvp + gain medals to obtain set like that.....
