Everybody knows Aion EU will be free to play. I have the Aion NA installed. I want to change it to EU. What I did is I opened the launcher, change the language from NA to EU and then repaired Aion. After that, my Aion is still NA. Did I miss something?

Don't worry yourself about it. NA will be as free as Lineage 2 when they release 3.0.

its actually EU, the game just cant change the main folder name. if it bothers u that much, rename the folder urself, then right click aion in the ncsoft launcher -> properties -> browse and locate the aion.bin in the bin32 folder again

anyways theres no point lol. the only thing u have to do to log retail is delete d3d8thk.dll from ur bin32 folder

exactly, ill play on NA even though ill have higher ping just coz im tired of people calling crap free when its obviously not

So when I changed the language from NA to EU in the launcher, and repaired my Aion, it's already in EU? How will I know if it's already EU though?

One question about this topic. I've installed the new Gameforge Launcher and changed my NCSoft Account already. After the installation of the Gameforge Launcher, it asked me if the launcher shall copy the installed version of aion, so I said "yes". It has been copied and patched but now my question, the client which has been copied is NA version, is the current client from the Gameforge Launcher now NA, too? Because I would like to play on a German EU server and you can't change the region on the Gameforge Launcher like on NCSoft Launcher.

Hmm. What I'm thinking is, use the NCSoft launcher to change it to EU. After that, run the Gameforge launcher and click yes to copy. Aion EU will then be copied.

    Yo, that's what I thought, too, but I just have a 6Mbit internet connection and I don't want to re-download all those 16GB ~_~
