Class->Assassin

I Like assassin class, but i have 300-400 ping.. can i play it or sorc is better for me? I've enough credits to buy a full abg and i'm confused, i want to spend it for the class i really like.. any help?

 

Try both first but I recommend you to choose Sorcerer.

 

high pings = bad for sins cuz u need the ability to react, as the battlestyle is instant, and highpaced...where everything you do much be done as fast as possible for optimum results, or you will feel the burn of missed opportunity

 

Ping 300-400, if u will use reducers maybe it will be 200 [which is playable for sin]. If u will achive constant 200 or lower ping u can play assassin good.If not, better stay on sorc =)With ping 300+ u won't be able to wave with effects, run/move/stun good, cause everything u will attack will be in real other position than u will see it.

 

my ping is 550-750 ^_^ normal

im using now WTFast -- ping is 250-350 and still good as long as you have good hardware i think...

Try sorc too.. its really strong

 

Thanks for all replies.. i love sins very much but i see sorc like really weak defense character.. also i've stigma tree with glacial shards.. so no sleeping storm..

I like Templars too, they've high defense, but i see they do rly low damage, am i rite?
How about chanters?

Some temps are the strongest damage machines on the planet. I dont know their builds to achieve this.

 

Try to use Leatrix +WTFast if u don't use already

with your ping. its at best if u play ..

250~350 tho is fine w/ glad, but u will really see the difference w/ a 200 or lower ping players. (well if u have lower ping, u always have the upper hand in any class)

 

I already use leatrix so i reduced ping from 600 to 400, sometimes i ping 240/300, mostly 430. if u tell me wtfast can reduce my ping too, i'll use it and let you know

well at first you need to really know what youre doing, combo-wise and all
2nd, a big portion of the spectacular damage a templar may or may not inflict is random damage, meaning some skills like punishment or shining slash could hit up to 4k crit PASSIVE but can also not
so it really depends on that, buffs, your greatsword, build and ping ^^
other than that, a good gladi will always outdps a good templar

 

I'm still confused, and today i found out my ping was around 290, can i still play assassin or i have to kill this idea?
Can chanter be good with an abg set in 1vs1?
