More PvP , less PvE

I am a new player here at Gamez , for like 2 weeks , and honestly, i have hard time at pvp , i mean i have a ranger and because it is hard to get your gear(SW,abg) i die easier , do shitty dmg srsly ^^ , it's not like i'm suicidal , but in 1vs1 i can't even kill because they all have great gear and i don't , my point is to make getting your gear easier so we pvp more , because all the newcomings are having hard time to get pvp gear and the old ones are raping us . It's my first time playing AION , i used to play in Lineage , and i like ur server a lot , but it is really frustrating to not enjoy PvP at is should be ^^

You aren't alone in thinking this. We've been trying to push for more easily obtainable pvp gear for a bit.

 

This is exactly a PVP server to start with. Anyhow, you just have to wait 'til your time comes, just do some craftings, if doing instances is quite hard for you. 'coz some people are too lazy to craft on their own, and just want to trade, so it's not a bad start for you.

 

I think pvp gear is not hard to get, aswell for SW gear the drop rate is high enought for you to get full set in a few BT run.

Sadly for ABG gear seem impossible to get in trades People only want to trade it for other ABG gears. so for new comers like you and me we have to make our way with APP/SW until we get enought credits to get ABG.

 

Well , i never did BT because "they always have ranger" ^^ the only way is to be VIP , and i need 15 days of daily voting , I am in unviersity and i don't want to invest too much itme in voting and crafting ^^ , i want to enjoy PvP quickly as it should be ^^ , honestly it's the first time i have hard time in a private server in my hole life xD

 

try find a good helpful legion. are some around that help with gear and such.
still with the rate we have getting AP is a joke here. the medals is harder to get then AP.
always zerg roaming that send random invites to anyone following them.

but the game is way more fun with friends and a good legion to speak with

Server should also give a big amount of gold medals when reaching 50 or 55 lvl.. so that it could make it easier to get eat-egt gears..


You will say it will get abushed.. so what?

People should take easier Eat-Egt gears since we are playing on a PVP server.. not with pve gears..

 

Your situation is just the same as me, I am a working man and a father, and I too cannot afford to invest more time on crafting/voting. Therefor, if you really want to pvp a.s.a.p with decent gears, there's only one solution and I know others would say it's lame, through donations.

 

well , we don't use our money online in my country often , too much hackers , so my parents won't allowed ^^ so if it's the only way ,it's shamefull , i hope gamemasters could do something about that ^^ i'm sure ppl will be more in server and enjoy it more ihave many freinds i otld them to come but when i told them about this they hesistate xD

 

you will still die in full abg when 10v1 you get fear+lightburst

solution can be:
make more chars so you can do muliple BT run a day so if you lucky you have a full set on one day, trade the items to the main char with the acc wh and you can go to pvp

 

its true that you got really bad time in getting those items... but its fair to those old players... you can zerg, you can have a good legion that helps, you can craft, you can vote and you can trade items. thats what old players doing to get pvp items for 1-2 years. thats what experiences mean.

 

Sorry but thats how pvp gear is supposed to be obtained. After all getting stormwing gear is piece of cake i dont see how you cant get one sw is the best free pve item you can get atm and its decent. Once you complete sw you can start farming ap for a pvp gear. Also i wouldnt suggest a ranger as a first char >.> Sorc or cleric better.

thank you for your responses , but i said before , i can't do BT unless a helpfull legion because they always have ranger before i ask x) , and did a sorc but it's harder than ranger i think because of time of casting ^^ before finishing my spell even the asmos dies or i die xD , but i will do my best looking for a legion and to farm ap
