Hey Guys
I just wanted to ask that DAFUQ IS GOING ON WITH 'MR' ???
I have chanter FULL ABG CHAIN + ABG SHIELD + ABG MACE (I Have MC Elatrite acc set) I'm full MR chanter and I built this character cause I hate mage , I have 2411 MR with set+scrolls+food+skills etc.
and 'EVERY' mage hits me with its skills , I dont resist ANY skills even Imbollize or reduce movemen speed?!wtf is going on i think 2411 MR is very HIGH ! is this like when you have very high MR you have lowest or wtf is going on, my friend is glad and he has 2098 MR and he resists 10/6 attacks from mage including imbollization skills etc.
WAITING FOR ANSWERS FROM GMS !

 

cool 2411 resist is to high... i got 2405 MR but i can resist ^^, i think its just like my accue set i got a 2913 accue but still i can hit a block or parry even dodge...

 

I played sorcerer today and I managed to achieve 3000 magical accuracy.
Do the math >.>
I read the gladiator skill buff called Strengthen wings and it gives resist to skills that can slow movement speed and immobilize.

 

My honest opinion...u shouldn´t make a char cuz u hate others!!
U should make one that makes u confortable pvping..

About the question itself, i think it differs from mage to mage...there are some with the same as u(mresist) and others(like me ^^), that are packed with macc...

Btw..i´m not even full abg and i can reach 3k macc so by that u can have a pretty good idea of the macc the sorcs can have..

I said i don't resist even '1' HIT , I rushed into vorgalten fortress just to see if I resist 1 sorc attack,i don't i get low attack but i don't resist , speaking of MA I have MC elatrite set so full MA sorc can hit me highest damage glacial will be like 1.600 none crit , but today i got 2.300 that means i was BOOST sorcerer like full boost on set and MA on weapon and i sill didnt resist with 2411 MR ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) dont try to find solutions like 'GO DO MATH' its just unorginized server thats it!

Hahaha blaming the server cause you cant resist EVERYTHING. LOL.

Sorcerers have buffs that increase magic accuracy,with 1 buff only they can cut through you like you were butter. The fact that you have 2400 MR doesnt mean anything at all. MR is not broken,it works perfectly fine. Not to mention that most SMs have over 2100 MA and thats probably the reason why you cant resist them.

And if you think you cant resist ANYTHING AT ALL then double check your manastones,maybe your stacked flight speed+7 thinking that its MR

Magic resist cant work for all of us and not work just for you,you are doing something wrong or you are just full of sh1t.

Forgot to mention that SMs also have MA buff.

If you're disappointed that sorcerer's can still easily land their hits on you using their buffs, be happy that the effects of MR is universal. You'll resist chanter's stun procs more frequently, you'll resist a gladiator's roots, you'll resist plenty of crucial templar abilities, and more. MR is really good against not just sorcerer's.

 

MR is good, but it doesn't make you immortal. No matter how much MR you have a Sorc can still hit you if they wanted to. they could just go full buff and nuke you out. If you really hate sorc. i suggest you should make a Templar they have a buff called aether armor. u could reach atleast 3k+ MR *if your Full MR* then maybe you would be able to resis almost anything unless a SM decides to be an a$$ and removes your AA buff lol. I use to be an MR user, i have about the same MR as you and i still resis but not all the time.

 

did the mage use supplication?

 

2400+ MR vs 2.4-3k MA. you end up getting a negative MR. so try to consider, its like your not wearing any MR, coz another players MA equates it.. besides sorcs have boon of strength which adds 300 MA and magic assist. it depends really of how well-informed a mage is with his stats and takes advatage of it. also, surely your glad friend has his fair share of resist/dont_resist incident. so...

dont be too mad. some chanters with the same set as yours dont resist or worst die, some with the same set as yours, lasts and do good. yet doesnt complain. im a cleric and has only 2,104 MR, resist some but dont resist most too especially when faced with a full MA SM/Sorc, its okay dude.. better luck next time.

or Full MA Sm + water spirit pet (its buff that adds MA)

 

well i can reach 3100macc with 2 bufss so ......

 

FOR ALL THOSE HATE MAGE CLASS : "JUST MAKE A DAMN ONE MAGE ^_^" AND SEE WHOSE MAGE IS BETTER U WON"T REGRET PLAYING A MAGE BCOZ EVEN OTHER CLASS WITH A FULL ABG/NCC SETS IS USELESS IN FRONT OF MAGE.
