New to aion and private servers

Hey hey GamezNetwork Community I'm new here.
My name is Marjurie.
The avatar I posted is not me, just a dream look-alike :lol:

A friend gave me her account and she's going to stop playing the game.
I've been interested for a long time but didn't have the time to play then.
Would like to hear some advices of what class to play.
She told me she got good gears and that she has this classes on her account(GamezLumiel server):
Chanter, Cleric x3, Gladiator, Assassin, Sorcerer, Spiritmaster.

I've played Ran(Shaman), Cabal(Wizard), and Tantra(Samabat) online.

It seems like in this game(based on what I read so far) I could play a priest or mage class.
Any suggestions what would be best to play for a newbie?
Easy to read and learn guides best compatible on this server would be greatly appreciated.

I'll start playing next week when I get the game in my desktop.

You're screwed - But welcome.
Try and find a Mentor just to show you around the basics, maybe read some guids about the classes you might like.

Lol, Glad is just generally the easiest class to handle.
Good damage, good defense, overall newbie-friendly. But if you're used to magic classes, you should roll them.

I really like it, exactly the job I do as a shaman.
Massive Haste<3 I feel like a hacker with that skill.

 

Liking the game so far.
The fights in Inggison zone are so intense but I was mostly being outnumbered.

If you're ever looking for someone to play with or run instances, I'm always down!
It would be nice to have someone to learn alongside against if you're on the Siel server.

 

I'm on lumiel and all I ever been doing since I played is PvP.
I'm trying to ask people how to have fun in other things.
Now I'm taking break from PvP and go to beshmundir temple with a cleric character.

I got pulled away from Lumiel (that's where I started playing).

You should come to lumiel we can farm stigma shards together :sideways:
And do Instances together too.

 

I left Lumiel because I got tired of farming stigma shards only to be pk'd in the Abyss.
Besides, we didn't find many active, English-speaking legions when we were playing Lumiel.
It's so weird to switch from Lumiel having a dead Sanctum to an active and lively Sanctum on Siel. :x
