Hello,
I am trying to log in after installing the launcher. After the client loads it looks exactly the same as the retail version (don't know if this is right) and it will not let me log in. Its says user name/password do not match. I tried both my login for gamezaion and my actual retail log in info. I was unsure if I needed to activate my gamezaion acct by donating so I paid for the 1500 credit membership or w/e and it still says the same thing when logging in. can someone help pls.

 

Did you download the GamezAion client? Make sure you do that. Also make sure you downgrade your Aion as well if you haven't already. Otherwise you'll just get stuck at the server select screen.

 

Yes I downloaded the client. Its not the server selection screen I am getting stuck at, its the logon screen. It tell s me the user name and pass don't match.

 

Did you confirm your email after you created the account? Also what is your Aion client version?

 

Make sure you are using the launcher to open up the game not the ncsoft launcher also if you are on 2.7.0.2 you will need to downgrade using this guide. http://forum.gameznetwork.com/f64/[guide]downgrade-2-7-0-2-2-7-0-1-a-114633/

 

Make sure your NCSoft Launcher is set to North American.

Uninstall Gamez Aion client, re-install.

 

i dont think gamezaion accounts need activation. the version also doesnt decide whether it accepts your login or not. you should be able to login with 2.7.0.2 as well (just freeze after server selection but it wouldnt tell u ur login is wrong)

a few things
1. try login to the gamezaion website to see if your login works
2. if you have any special characters in your username or password, you will need a new account, they screw up in the database so the game wont let you in
3. make sure you run the game through the gamezaion launcher and not the ncsoft launcher

 

Yes I confirmed. I'm not home to check my client version right now. I have a question though..did I need to bu the 1500 credit membership thing in order to play?

 

no you didnt

 

You dont have to but you will notice you level up much faster and your drop rate will be noticeably better as well ^^

 

No you don't have to buy premium membership or anything to play. You can play for free.

 

OK perhaps I need to great another login? I confirmed it via email and have no problem logging ont.o the site

 

well does ur login use any special characters? (anything other than letters and numbers). if yes then you are screwed. if not, we can fix the client

 

Oh I forgot I had used a parenthesis in my password. I changed that. Now you think I should be able to login?

 

Yes if you changed it and you confirmed the change on your email adress you should be able to log in now
