Sorcerer vs Ranger

It looks like Ranger is OP character on the server.

idk but if a temp can beat up a ranger then temp is OP? nah i dont think so it really depends on the person using the toon.

Only way to try to beat rangers who uses Sleep arrow @ the beginning:
- Use a HP set (yes, lets play retail like, not pewpew our server like)
- Last through their burst (Illusion before the duel of course)
- Profit (if not, keep in mind this is a game and you cannot win everyone esp in the All-OP-server)

1.) I have full ABG Cloth set +15 (with full HP +85 socked)
2). Illusion doesn't work on magical skills (Sleeping arrow)
3). Its not that I want to win everyone, is just that I can't even try to play vs Rangers

 

It is pretty much a hopeless cause.


Why do you ask me?


#1: Sleep arrow, once again, hits 100% of the time.

#2: Silence arrow, once again, hits 100% of the time (I think after that one patch it still did...).

Sleep arrow can't be resisted or dodged with illusion on this server as well... so that's gay.


#3: Healing potion's/curative root's aren't working here to remove that damned silence arrow.


The honest tl;dr is that ranger's will kill a sorc nearly everytime if evenly geared.

I do have to say that if a ranger is stupid though that I can stunchain them to death. Neveeerrr let me get my arcane thunderbolt off lol.

But either way... you'll lose to a ranger prolly 95% of the time.

 

there are other factors before ur skills.

I told u to use illusion cuz there was an arrogant guy who just said he can 2 hit a sorc
So yep if evenly gear u cant beat rangers in duels, which is sad >: (

Nah, when your're using the first skill they're making you fall asleep.

lose on a duel that ranger uses sleep arrow quickly duel again, if he declines the duel cuz he needs to skills to CD then its a noob ranger

 

tip: Use Boon of Iron-clad not sure of the name before the countdown reach to 2 and manage to cast barrier of severance be sure u have full buffs and with iron skin on... 3 shield in a matter of 8 sec, thats enough time to get all the rangers skills used on u, then its your turn xD

Err what did I say something wrong?

 

Boon of Iron-Clad takes 5 seconds --> Sleep Arrow takes 12 seconds.

Barrier of Severance takes 8 seconds and causing me to become stunned + Cast time is 2 seconds --> Sleep Arrow cast instant.

Tell me how to get both skills active

 

Tell me did the ranger waits for the sleep arrow to subside... NO, so im teaching you how to buy time for you to cast the sleeping storm, because you are not stunned or sleep forever, the barrier that barrier of severance gives will not remove if u are stunned... its just a matter of practice and experience...

 

I think since Sleep Arrow skill has range within 15m, I think the best option is : RUN -> Illusion -> root (25m) -> sleep (25m) -> kill
