Best way to DL aion?

So..

A friend wants to download aion but this f2p i don't know which client is the best and fastest..

Gameforce or ncsoft?

we want to avoid torrents since it needs launcher again.


if gameforce the files are almost the same right? for the downgrade after that
but on the other hand Gameforce is for europe clients.. don't know about american client

Gameforge. I think its the best. I downloaded it from there, i think its the only option.

we can't download aion from ncsoft?

its been time since the last time i opened that launcher..

also works in gamez fine right?

 

tbh the ncsoft launcher was the fastest for me, it looks slow but speeds up a lot over time

the problem with torrents is that they r often outdated or have leftovers of other private servers in them so ull have to repair them anyway (repair doesnt remove extra override files that dont belong btw)

torrents can be linked to ncsoft launcher, making it think the game is installed though so thats not an issue. but yea torrent quality is questionable

edit: if u download from ncsoft launcher, make sure the region is set to north america and automatic updating is off first

 

Personally I downloaded aion from gameforce stuff before (I wanted to play f2p before knowing of private servers) and it's been hell, had it getting stuck and all a million times and being terribly slow... took me many days to get it all. Instead with ncsoft client I had no prob and downloaded it all in a few hours.
But this was just a personal experience, don't know in general.

PS. know another person who had similar problems as mine in one of the many comps he installed it.

 

yea a friend of mine also said gameforge is a mess. she owns a retail veteran account but apparently they dont even know wtf they r doing atm xD

 

so we end up to ncsoft launcher..

avoid gameforce because of errors and torrents because it needs repair

Good thing with torrent is that you can stop the download whenever you want and then continue. With NcSoft your download may fail and you'd have to download it again.

 

i used ncsoft and then when u install the free2play version it will ask u if u want to download it again or copy the files from ncsoft folder instead and thats what i did.but tbh i would wait for the na version to go free2play gf is a piece of crap

yea im also waiting for NA to go free. they actually know what they r doing (gameforge is becoming lowrate gamez) and its really free, not just advertising themselves as free and slapping restrictions across ur face on every corner
