Need Tanky Chanter Build

Thanks for the replies. Well as i noticed chanter is so difficult to play,its not exactly a tank class..i cant compare the way my templar tanks to the way my chanter tanks. Chanter receives too much damage from gladiators even rangers. In 1v1 you can probably beat a good ranger or a good sin,but beating glads is the hardest parts. Beating mages is possible,especially sorcerers,but SMs maybe not. Compared to cleric chanter is totally different,clerics have no problem beating gladiators,its probably the easiest class to beat with a cleric,while for chanters glads are probably the hardest class to beat,cause with a defensive build you ll deal sh1t dmg while their dmg is still high,with an offensive build your damage will still be kinda shitty while the glad deals 6k dmg with 1 combo chain.

I think i ll give up being a chanter Tried it for 2 weeks i think i cant play anymore with it. Personally,the class is too weak. But im sure its not really weak,i just need alot of practice which im not willing to do cause its boring

Back to cleric/templar lol.

 

i think parry is bugged with 2700 block vs 3200 parry i can block more hits then parry dont know why

 

really davv? i dont feel its bugged though, btw so u're playing chanter now? if yes.. we deffly should group up & raid sometimes, i love mantras! especially when im on my noobie cleric

anyway..

on topic: i recommend shield & mace, if u wanna tank.. block or MR depends on your playstyle

 

the fact you cant beat glads is because of the tank build and the jewels

i don't have bit problem with glads (unless they are woc2 users and silence pros all the time)

personaly i got m.acc on my staff and use BoW (the buff)

and i hit harder than glads with that even with my mr set

 

Id consider you magician if it was an actual Bow.

if u want try an abg leather full mr with glasses and abg staff or athana fused full critical.u will resist and because leather u will have chance to dodge enemies.and u will hit very hard...

 

i just played chanter with leather... it sux hard .. cant even tank 3 enemies

Well I have like 4 sets with diff builds but the main one I use I have about 2k MR then the rest block my I have ABG Staff fused with Sema full crit (masta is better now though) and Athana with Guardian Tribunu Full attack,Shield and Mace I have them full block as well.

Like some people mentioned your gonna find yourself switching between weapons and mantras more that anything though, make sure to always have focused parry on that will help you out alot XD

Zoli Chanter Pvp - YouTube In that part I was using that build and I tanked them pretty well for example and I made TONS of mistakes like having rage spell on and not using casting speed scrolls and having both Devine Curtain and Word of Spellstopping, I forgot to change mantras and didnt use my parry buffs ( I was still learning) XD

 

i can killed temp..but it takes time..LOL..using full set of mr chain set..abg crit acc full+nhde mlivte glass+full mgic accurcy on staff..block for shild nd mace.sorry for english..

 

errmm..im playing with my chant not..with 4parts parry and rest is crit and using staff i can kill a ranger and sin w/ my combos for 5 secs,,as for glads..its kinda take long to kill them..and temp?better run.killing them gonna takes a lot of time,,and as for sorc and sm?better do ur thing 1st..before they got u..but ill try to expirements now on evasion and crit build..just for fun and see if its works..

 

Full MR set is good. try not to use Parry. and change it to Block or MR.

 

yeah..ive use parry and its quite not usefull nowadys..IDK..
