Hi im new

Hello, my name is sopp and im new to aion. After gameforge made aion F2P i decided to try it, and well, it makes it seem like your playing a wow free trial because of all the chat restrictions and i don't wanna pay. So i just deleted the gameforge folder and starting looking into private servers, well i wanna know and need some help here. How populated is this server? How great is the pvp in this game? Is it worth it? Server stabability good? Is there as many bugs as there are in wow pservers? And if anybody willing to help a noobie out?

 

Seil server is verry populated and good to start if ur new, since more ppl to group for instances.
but also bad when it comes to pvp since so many ppl like to zerg here its hard to avoid it.
this server has alot of bugs like so many other. the server stability i would say is good. could be better against hackers.

there is alot of newbie friendly guids on the forum that u can check, and also try checking the Legion section for a helpful legion to join and raid with.

 

Thanks for the reply so quickly. And yes i saw f2p US, there is as many restrictions as the EU version which i tried, but ill give this server a try

 

Any types of raiding/pve in this game? And does it work on this server?

 

Yes, you can go BT(Beshmundir Temple) and loot Stormwing armor parts and weapons. Need a group.

 

yeah most stuff work. its not like retail with some stuff thou. also the end pvp gear ABG or GBG u can only obtain by voting or donating to the server. same goes for some rare skins and remodels. but u can still farm gear easy like APP "second" best pvp gear.
DP works AS work BT works still alot of ppl that like the PvE side. me included.
by raiding u mean ? fort seige ?

Flying thing, you mean if you can fly? outy: Yes it works. And I would suggest that you pick Siel server coz all skills here are auto learn, whereas if you go Lumiel you're gonna have to acquire the stigmas. And there are always groups running instances like Udas Temple, Lower Udas Temple, Beshmundir Temple, that you can join to. Getting a good gear is pretty fast here. You may encounter a bug or two but they aren't that big for you to not be able to play.

If your new then u don't know what a zerg is. I log in 1 hour ago and the server is dead, all fort's owned by balu, boring as hell. But welcome.

 

What do you mean the server is dead and all forts are owned? I know what the term zerg means generally.

 

Forts are not dead. It's just that Balaurs are taking forts in Gelk most of the time now. And abyss forts are owned by Elyos, mainly because Asmos would prefer the PVP buff than to actually put an effort in taking those forts. Even so, that doesn't mean server is dead. Coz if it is, then you won't even be talking about zergs here and there. Come see for yourself. :lol:
