question about good class for pvp and pve

playing style is important... be sure you know how to use your character well... its not just strength... strategy and playing style are important too.... you need to know and learn the skills and moves of other classes so that you know when and where to attack your target either in group or 1 on 1 fight of even youre trying to KS.... and above all -- RESPECT the the playing style of other players and learn to overcome it...

and as a reminder, dont run back if there is no way to escape -- it is the most stupid move of other players... running back instead of facing the enemies and fight, even there is no way to escape and run away..

And also... learn from the playing style of Stingmered, strong glad and wise.... but i dont like his attitude... he wants his enemy to play according to his style and wants only to fall enemy into his territory... and if you play not according to what he wants... he will log in his stupid asmodian character and start sending whisper on you hahaha... WTF noob player of elyo.

 

Charge is important against mages... hopefully they dont react in time and you can stumble then at first strike. Then just unleash hell.
wave is good because your chances of silence (if you have one) increase by everyhit given.

Also Defense Preparations... nobody uses it. It can give you a slight advantage.

 

Gladiators and most other melee classes are very ping dependant if you don't have the ping your pretty much in trouble ....lol might as well roll sorc or something since they dont rely on ping as much. To be honest every class has a counter class and magic class is one of our weaknesses they can pretty much take glads out with out even trying. But yeah...... 1 advice i can give u is start playing all the class learn all the skills then play glad again. that way you'll know exactly what to do when your in a fight. And don't duel too much it makes u stupied in battlefields xD.

 

hahaha... many players who graduated in Duel Academy of Siel for Asmodian Players have tendency of becoming more stupid player during PVP... they forgot to use potions... forgot to use UD and other buffs... buffs that are being controlled by players and practice of not using them in duel... the most stupid practice of players!!!

 

and another problem when they're dualing that they're rage and call u noob when u use ur skills and maybe call u a hacker when u have a really low ping and win them quickly -.-

 

Id like to add,regarding melee classes and ping. Yes its true. With low ping you have a huge advantage against fellow glads and other melee classes. I find it hard to pvp with glad and imagine that my ping is not even terrible,its just 180-220,i can do 3 stumble chains and react pretty fast,but i can see that its not enough. Glad is very ping dependant,same goes for assassins. Templars too but not as much. I have picked cleric and templar as main classes cause they are less ping dependant,well cleric is not ping dependant at all. If your ping is above 300 then for sure go for caster. If your ping is 200 then you could try all the classes and decide what fits you best. With 2 digit ping,even without skill you could become a hell of a gladiator Im saying this because im not a gladiator,im not even good at it,i just use the class for fun and i can see the advantage i got against users from philippines/latin america. I can imagine what id do with 2 digit ping. Glad is simply fun,but if you got terribly high ping,or if you really suck at it,dont use glad for serious pvp.

 

it is pretty easy to kill a sorc or an anohter class with low ping +woc. if you are good at glad, its hard to kill.let's say a sorc nuked glad.bum second wind and pots. you gotta nuke it again <<. oh well in 3.0 this problem is going to be solved i think d;

For me if your glad especially here in phillipines who an average of 400 ms ping you must analyze your class and the opponent you will be facing. and you have to take a time to figure it out on how you used your skill effectively and the important is making an adjustment on how you move if your ping got worse more than 400+ ms .

 

Personally, I'm currently playing a Crit/Atk Assassin.
There are still a lot of things that I need to perfect, but it's been a lot of fun so far.
I find myself mainly getting wrecked by Rangers and plate classes.
Even when my Signet Silence gets resisted, I can come back with stuns, bindings, and criticals for damage.
The damage output from Gladiators and Rangers are just insane from what I've encountered in Silentera or Gelkamaros.
Anyways, I hope you find what you're looking for in regards to playing a Gladiator.
I want to master all of the classes!

 

ping always matter in online games so i dont agree that sorc and mage class dont rely on ping, a 0.3 delay is a matter of life and death,

Every class has its weakness. When dealing Sorcs/SM's you'll have to go all out. Having 1v1 with sorcs is not a problem, but the problem nowadays is that, you'll barely find anyone who's soloing, so if ever you're facing 2-3 sorcs/sm's, then good luck.

 

Glad is good when ur a bit master it..w/ chain set(Full MR is Best) and extending weaps and w/ low ping ofcourse,,u can beat any class..if ur against caster like sorc and sm better use berserk and stun lock and stumbbled them to death as fast as u can..do ur 1st move or theyll crush u down..BTW guys..her in Philippines we do have 400ms up(i agree w. that) thnx to wtfast,,we can go down to 250ms..and we play glad better now..
