Trying to decide....

Okay so I have played pretty much every class that aion has to offer, for the longest time I stuck with ranger, but having no good escape can kick your ass, so after much consideration I went and started playing spirits master which is fun and eeruthing but most people just think your a fear noob (which I'm not) but it still gets annoying at times. So I am trying to find out everyone's opinion on if I should just go back to ranger or keep rocking spirit master, their both really fun classes but solo pvp seems to be more fun with a ranger and I've noticed a lot of people don't respect spirit masters, so your thoughts on this would be appreciated guys, and yes I am a fully geared abg spirit master so I could just trade the gear for leather if need be. sms are respected and feared thats why they all focus on them in a fight about rangers eh not such a hard time still its fun with ranger got to admit that

 

I guess I just have had bad luck then, I've had people non stop use me as bait (in pvp) or have Pmd me after duels and such insulting me, which is all part of the game, but still gets annoying. And thanks to Momo for making me want to reroll lol.

 

If you prefer Solo PvP which is actually quite impossible around here then I think Ranger is a good class since it is a class that makes Solo PvP a bit possible.
SMs' capabilities is more expressed/shown in group but I am not saying it is not a class for Solo. People are trying to demoralize the class because they cannot deal with it. That is why in PvP they take away the SMs first. They are nothing with SMs around
Fear locking for sure and I agree quite noobish specially in 1v1 but using fear during battle is not prevented specially against more than 2 people. Fear is part of the class. If you care a lot about what will people say about you then there is no way you will keep enjoying this game. Never try living up through people's expectation. If you are not like those noob SMs who spam fear in 1v1, etc. then just simply prove them wrong

 

sms are not good as bait they are there to break the zerg line stay behind with a healer and slow, root, fear, silence ,body root who ever comes to attack the healer as for me i love to have sms in party to save me they are so good but yeah without proper heal and dispel u will be killed cuz usually ppl go for the sm not the healer as i said they fear the sm dont care about the rest of the group if the sm dies usually the rest of the fight will go easier

 

SM is fun but I recently found out that even if i win without using fear(happened a lot). They still call you pathetic.

 

they call u pathetic/n00b cuz they are noobs and pathetic sm is fun but for solo go ranger even ranger ppl call them zergers cuz most of them are in the zergs so after all whats better u will still be called in a way or another

 

I still find the class fun and everything, just trolls get annoying...sucks that their everywhere, in solo pvp I pretty much will only fear if I get rushed by a zerg, then if I die I'm going to die pissing them off lol.

I've been playing SM since 1.9 , and I still play it sometimes.. Currently, I am playing ranger , and i am totally enjoying it LOL, so easy to get AP.. I only change to SM when my legion needs me, or when i wanna do a revenge to the elyos, since they killed my ranger hahahah (trust me My SM is soo cruel LOL, my revenge always lead to success until i get 1 ap from the one who killed my ranger ROFLMAO)..

PPl also critique da lot glads coz they were easy to play and every single nab good geared could be a decent glad bla bla.
My advice, like i said, just go for the class u like the most and dont bother to think of what others respect or dont.

 

When i played spirit master my own factions loved me and as for the opposite faction, i can't hear their complains anyway so let them kiss the floor.

A good spiritmaster is probably the most feared class (oh the phun.)

Why do you care about other people opinions on your gameplay?? whatever class you wanna play just play it and use its skills however you see fit... **** everyone who says otherwise. They dont have any right to tell you what to do.

I am not a fan of SMs but they are cool when the user is skilled enough, same with rangers... both are cool classes, and both can do solo and group pvp... of course SM has better outcome in groups, but i have seen solo players that can mincemeat you in seconds. Enjoy it.

just simply play assassin and go ma build with paralyze godstone. . .

u will have the hardest time of your life playing it and if u pawn them, they cant do anything about it since they know ur dmg is low.
