question about fortres

i just want to know how asmos now have a fortres in iggison and we dont have 1 in gelmaroz. Yesterday when i go sleep every was diferent, both fortres in iggison was balaur and Gelmaroz 1 was asmo(if yu see none legion conquist, obiusly some1 with power to do that give the fortres to asmos) and other baluar.

I dont really think elyos leave asmos conquist Temple of Scales, and BTW my legion conquist that fortres TWICE in the last days and always in 2 days max baluart conquist it again. So why baluart never conquist asmos fortres in gelmaroz.

Elyos is not united and too lazy to siege forts.. Asmos maybe few but they fight as one..

Balaurs are like elyos and asmos, they can take the fort, many times a gm did it for more "pvp motivation" and others things.

I'm on -5 GMT (EST), and I have noticed that Temple of Scales going vulnerable around 4-5 AM instead of just the 9 - 10 PM.
It could have been taken by Balaur one day, and then, the Asmodians could have taken it the next time it went vulnerable.
As of right now, it's almost impossible to defend against Balaur since you have invisible archers inside of walls.

I've seen countless times where Elyos will cry about Asmodians in Arbolu/Heiron, but if we tried shouting for an alliance 1-2 hours prior to the forts going vulnerable for an alliance, Elyos will just join/leave immediately.
Elyos, from my perspective, are just lazy. They'd rather join up after the forts have already gone vulnerable instead of prior for planning. Nope.... lets join after forts are vulnerable, and then, lets cry about being killed while trying to get into position.

My tip?
Join up faster.
Play smarter.

 

So supposedly.. you are saying alente or the devs programmed the dredgion to take the fort away from ur legion as quick as it can or wut?

anywy in lumiel the last time any race ever owned a balaurean fort was elyos race. They had the two forts for not more than a week before dredgion took it while asmos had none at all. Right now both race got fed up and the population has decreased on both sides to take a fort.

Actually, I can go ahead and say the same thing about elyos. But you know what, it's the same situation on either side. I've been ganked by 20 elyos while I'm all by myself in Silentera and on another ocassion my group of 5 have killed one elyos. You see, it's a ping pong zerg! But even so, that's not the point here why your fort has been lost and why we own one in your territory. So, I still say +1 to what Jayrii posted. And there's so much truth to what ixgeedee said.

One thing though, I think people are not really that keen into doing fort sieges these days because of the fact that you only get 3-5 plat medals and some AP when you do it. Plus, owning a fort doesn't last very long since the freakin Balaurs take over them so fast.

So, let's just take it easy, shall we? :lol:

btw, the fort frome inggi that ely owns it, i was there at the siege..
i was whit 3 of my legion buddys and 5 more players(2 tanks,1 chanter, 1 cleric..others,..) and we took the fortress
but there was a problem, after we took it, no plat medals or ap for us...
and i think thats the main reson why people isnt assaulting the forts anymore

 

But that's the thing about taking forts. Doesn't the BG of the legion receive medals from the forts that they own? With those medals, he/she can hand them out to whichever members need them. That's why they're so detrimental. I'm not even going to nit-pick at what Kymiloi says because it'll turn into a flame war, which is what I'd like to avoid. Both sides zerg. It's a given. It's unavoidable. I dislike it because it doesn't show what "pvp" actually is. People just spam skills until they die in a zerg. The most needed skill in a zerg is the ability to run away the best when things turn haywire. You only get platinum medals from certain fortresses. You get gold medals from lower Reshanta.

U dont get platinum medals from any forts in abyss.
u get them in iggi/gelk
the BG of each legion get 20-60 gold medals each day u defend or ur fort is not taken over and x2 the amount in silver.
and when u take one fort over, everyone that was there get up to 4 gold medals.

the forts are made like this since ur not suppose to get a full lvl 50 gear and such in a day on retail.
the thing that is wrong here is that the old ppl before could rack up 100+ medals per day when the fort timers and bosses were easier.
u could join a pt of 2-3 ppl-. go 1 git the boss and sit anywhere and rack in the medals. all i took was 1 of the guys to hit it and th PT got medals.

imagine u and ur friend dual client. and so on. u get the point. and now when they are trying to hard to be retail.
ppl get lazy fast and rather vote 1k credit and sell for 1k gold medals or full egt sets with stones and all.


tl:dr - server was high rate and is now trying to be retail

 

I know that you only get plat medals from Ingg/Gelk forts. We were talking about these forts in the first place, that's why I just mentioned the plat medals. And yes, I also know about the BG's getting a lot of medals if they get any fort. I came from retail and a member of a top legion, and we own most of the forts back in Nezekan (Mythril). We hand out medals not just to legion members who needs it but to other legions too. My point when I said something about people not wanting to do fort sieges in this server (Gamezaion), is that, aside from the fact that you only get 3 or so plat medals when you defend forts in Ingg/Gelk, ( not to mention not getting AP sometimes), there's really not much to it, other than owning a fort that people can actually run into when a zerg comes their way. There's only one legion who gets to have their name on that fort, which means just one BG too. And I think in this server, no one really cares about giving out medals to a lot of people. I say this, because I haven't heard of one. And based on my experience, even when I make a full alliance everytime to go fort siege, the highest number of medals I get is 4.

Ping pong zerg is everywhere. And I think if the Balaurs can join in, they would be another faction to QQ about this. inched: Such a turn off. I'm outta here!
