In Order (for me)

1. Glad
2. Sorc
3. Ranger
4. Chanter

 

Well, kind of incoherent... its a group gameplay based game, so no class is absolute (best) on solo or group.
So I suppose any class that have a good pilot, good ping, a optimal gear for the given task.

 

This is my experience:
Assassin/ranger/sorcer:best solo class (pvp)
Chanter/cleric/templar/gladiator:hybrid class;required in pve/great for pvp grup and solo too
Spirit master:required in istance(pve);excellent in pvp grup(..and if you knew how to use its very good in pvp solo too)

 

I'm suprised spiritmaster isn't winning this. Even more suprised that assassin is, that class is horrible in group pvp.

 

Gladiator for solo or grup/ Sin/ranger for solo "but sin with a hide pt best pt for raid in my point of view".

Spiritmaster/chanter and claric for group "Spiritmaster/chanter best suport, u can kill a full pt just giving a enemy fear, and u can tank like hell with elemental and mantras".

man, with u got a pt full of sins in hide state be sure that pt can kill any other got the enemy with a surprise atk is fatal.

 

Well, Templar sucks for both solo/group. >_>

OT: My answer for this poll would be "Any class that is being played by a human w/ actual brain."

 

soloing... the best are glad= cuz they not squishy and they can hit good dmg... ranger/sin for stealth and good dmg... but most of pvping today is zerg to group so keep that in mind. temp can be useful on both soloing, since if you good geared you wont be killed so easily- same goes for good clerics/chanters. for group glad again, temps, clerics, and chanters. sin, rangers, and caster good for group mostly, since with group setting they have people protecting them while they deliver their high damages. this is merely over all look, some players are just good that they can survive soloing.

he did say soloing not 1 vs 1 sm would win if its 1 vs 1... soloing (by yourself) with sin ability to go in and out of shadows make them good soloers...
glad be next one cuz of they high dmg and combined with their good defenses they are build for solo-pvping.

I am not saying other classes cant solo, they can just these two classes is build for it more...

 

I say cleric, just coz I killed a a group of 4 (sin, ranger, temp, sm) all by myself. :lol:

for solo pvp i would say ranger/sin/sorc. group pvp glad/temp/sm/cleric/chanter. glads are good for solo only if u know how to play the class. ranger/sin/sorc are good in groups also
