    yeah you must do download diretx but reminder its depends what version of your operating system
    if you running window xp you need directx version 9.0 and for windows 7 directx 11

    I keep getting the same problem. I already installed directx 9.0c many times but to no avail. I even replaced the bin 32 folder with the downgrade.

    thats actually wrong :p win 7 comes with directx 11 preinstalled and its absolutely useless for a game coded on 9.0c so yea both of them need 9.0c

    there r only 2 things that can cause it, one is the dlls in the bin32 folder, the other is real directx. the way i know people by now, they forget to do all the steps

    Download DirectX 9.0c (Jun 10) - Download - FileHippo.com
    get this, extract it, run dxsetup.exe manually, restart your pc when its done

    yea some people just extract it and never actually run the installer or they dont restart their pc when its done just coz it doesnt ask for it

    if that doesnt work, delete the whole bin32 folder and replace it with the one in the downgrade.zip in the guide

    one of these will definitely work, always does

    Retried for the "n"th time still the same result...failed. Every steps had been undertaken though...

    I wonder if updating to 3.0 via ncsoft launcher will do the trick.

    apparently when ur game is fully updated and u use the ncsoft launcher to run it, it can get some directx components by itself. u could try that. still find this weird
