Chanter Build: What do you think is more effective?

On this server you only live long enough to kill, not to survive after killing. The best build is DPS Chanter - imo.

After all, the best defense is the offense, right?

 

True. Any recommended MS to socket? (offensive)

 

well if u want solo then u schould go ofensive but if u'r pt player u want stand enough long to heal ur group mates so better is defensive!

 

It would help me decide if you can give me and idea what stones to put in there.

 

Actually, chanter is not a healer, but it can be supporter - sometimes. Sometimes only.

I was about to say life steal + atk speed + crit dmg but then I remembered that we talk about Aion. Hehe!

Well, as DPS you want to have good critical rate, so you know what to stack. Maybe you could throw some MR as well, just for some % to survive from a nuker with bazooka.

 

I think even a full MR chain would still kneel to a sorc's bazooka

 

With the current stats in game, these are words full of truth my friend.

 

yup sorc just need use MA + SOF and he will cut u like butter

 

Hi, I use 4 parts attack and crit in the rest, and works nice
I tried with full MR but doesn't work fine vs sorc and sm
All this in lumiel with the dps chain

Put some attack/Crit ..for your set and weap.. Mr is useless i guess . this days too many mage use full ma in there set so there a possibility to resist it . You cant run in its a zergs chasing at you .. .

 

Chanter on full MR with nhde critical accessories along with NHDE Malevite glasses + elemental defense mantra + your buffs + full scrolls + hde MR food,with that you get 40% protection from magic attacks,you can troll sorcerers easily,you also have several buffs with low cooldown that reduce damage,that should be more than enough. But then again this is just a troll build,dont expect to kill gladiator or templars with this build and these accessories

 

About NCC Shield and NCC Mace: Would this suffice as an appropriate weaps for switching.

I kindda like switching from staff to mace and shield just to add up some MR and Block. since i had em both socketed respectively.

any thoughts?

 

Offensive For me .. MA for Stun and Some Crit .. Easy to DEF on Chanter Using Shield and Mace .. He got a lot of buffs and he got heal too ..

best build for chanter? what is a chanter anyway? chanter is a priest, you heal,buff and support mainly! you are not made to kill.. best build is MR only if you hit 2k+ MR, if not, HP, Parry and Block(for your mace and shield)..

and offensive chanter is really fun to play with, but not a very effective chanter.. better roll on glad or assassin if you want to be a dps class..

this guy(he is noob though) also says the same thing.. both of us play mainly as priest.. now, believe us or else you'll be a fail chanter
