I've been always wanting to have 2 ABG Plate Sets, one being the attack built set and another as MR set instead of having plate and chain but the problem is switching them with macro is not possible, I mean if it's 2 ABG Plate Sets. So I would like to suggest to put Guardian Brigade General sets on credit shop as well.

Benefit? Gladiators and Templars can switch sets with macro even if it's both plate sets (GBG & ABG - Atk / MR). Sorcerers can switch sets with macro even if it's both cloth sets (GBG & ABG - MR / Macc / MB). Assassins and Ranger can switch sets with macro even if it's both leather sets (GBG & ABG - Evasion / Macc / Atk). Cleric can switch sets with macro even if it's both chain sets (GBG & ABG - MR / Block) & Chanter can switch sets with macro even if it's both chain sets (GBG & ABG - MR / Atk).

The whole idea is to be able to switch sets through macro even if it's the same type of set without having 1 of the set being a subpar set.

It would also benefit the server in a way that new set of donations will be coming if this were to be implemented.

I would also like to suggest the same thing once Gamez is on 3.0 as the sets are originally class locked or so I heard.

Credits to Razor / Frostfist for the idea :3

I've wanted this for a long time, switching between my chain MR and my chain PEW PEW easily would be nice :3

Seems pointless now though, 3.0 coming level 60 stuff. But yea w.e.

would be a nice idea, but wouldn't there also be a way for the macros to read specific item codes instead of item names? I've tried writing the item code before, and it turns into the name. I'm not sure about this, but I think there's a different item code for every different items. For example, a Chain torso socketed with MR would have a different code than the same torso socketted with Block.

We'd have to ask smartik about this, but if the macro readers could be modified to detect different items to that extent, it would be sweet. Would also be nice to write bigger macros, since some item names are retardedly big and it's hard to do a macro for some sets..

Even if it's possible, I think it would be a lot harder than just putting GBG items on shop, won't it? D:

Won't be the server's fault. There are 2 Wings of the Circle in credit shop, 1 with conditioning and 1 without and there's barely any event where someone bought the wrong wings and filed a complain about it on this forum.

In the first place, ABG isn't suppose to have a set bonus to begin with so what Razor said should do.

rofl no it doesnt unless the last time you logged in there was in 2.0 cuz in 2.1 they increased the base stats and removed the set bonuses(hence most old players have masta+abg not the other way around)

its been suggested before but they wont bother since abg is already in the store even though players have had concerns about not being able to switch sets of the same type easy and having gbg would make it easier

it doesn't matter if 3.0 is coming, it's about the idea of being able to change to the same type of set with different sockets that matters..

Switch the skillbar on 6,7,8 or a clean bar. Put the parts of ABG which you wanna macro there. Make a macro which uses the skillbar with the parts. It's faster than clicking on every single part.

Why? Parts are getting confused even if you bind them in skillbar?

When you bind an item in the skillbar it takes the same command as the macro. The command is /Use
So let's say you want to equip an ABG Sword; It's /Use Archon Brigade General's Sword
If you have two swords, with diferent builds, the command will be the same, and the game will choose only one sword to be the one that goes when you say the command.
That's why you can't make macros or set skills bars with two items of the same name, but different builds.
