APP or EAT?

I choosing what set to buy, APP or EAT, Elite Archon Tribunus have hidden effect when you get full set, guys help to choose :sideways: (im Gladiator):smile:

 

For me, I've learned that the EGT/EAT leather and cloth are better than the GPP/APP counterparts, but the GPP/APP chain and plate are better.

I might have to look at that one again.
I thought you only get a few crit bonuses while giving up about 100+ points in physical defense.

 

well if u going for Dps gladi it is better then u use Eat for the hidden effect and all of that but APP is the good stuff cuz of the PVP deffense... well choise wisely...

 

APP/GPP for me.. EAT/EGT sucks.. im being soft wearing lvl 50 abyss armors....

 

from app i like chain and cloth..

from egt i like leather..

i hate plate

 

EAT better for me, btw why u think at Inggi or Everywhere Abyss Sellers it says : Greater Armour / Greater Weapon Shop ??

 

Physical def matters little. The only gpp set that is better than eat is the chain set (has MR).

Ah, I see. Thanks for your input.
So I have a follow-up question if you don't mind. (Just curious for input)

If you're already capped at near 845 crit strike, would GPP still be good since you wouldn't have to worry about the crit strike bonus? Then, you'd be getting the physical defense bonus without having a need for an EGT/EAT set.
Or would it still be better just to get the set for the hidden set bonuses?

 

Well in my opinion it would still be better to have the Eat set on since it gives some nice stats,if you wear GPP you'd have to slot manastones in order to get those stats,and its a waste of manaslote in my opinion,also as far as i know eat has higher hp too. I used to play glad actively before (long time ago though) with eat plate set crit/accuracy build and ice black spear fused with elite level 40 spear. It was doing great. Afterward i did try GPP but i still think egt is better. Though if you wanna go MR build and you cant afford ABG,go with GPP chain.

 

Even though APP has more PVP Defence, EAT has the useful set bonuses. So EAT :3

 

EAT = damage type
APP = defense type

 

For me..I think that APP is better that EAT

 

EAT = Damage + High HP / Low Physical Def and PVP def
APP = High Defense in PVP + High Physical Def / Low HP

But still ABG Owns all unless 3.0 comes

hmm i used EAT cloth set and it doesnt give higher HP or dmg lol with GPP i have betetr stats and def so GPP/APP is better...EAT is history lol
