Aion on Gamez Retail

I was just wondering if anyone here also play the retail aion and if anyone know what is the difference between gamez and retail beside the speed we level drop rates and so on.
Was looking for for answers to questions like does the instances hace CD and if so how long are they, are all the weapons and armor active how hard is it to get medats? are Tac SW and 3.0 items available Ingame?

It would be cool if I could have some feedback from you guys, and thx.

 

retail..is......how do i put this lightly...(a pain in the yea....xD) but the difference i noticed in retail is the mechanics like when it comes to flying its alot harder for some reason in retail than in gamez but i cant figure out why... and with retail(i play cleric) i have random chance to stumble(low rate) but it happens for some reason which in gamez it never happens. So weird. + the dmg is alot different. For example in retail sins do SOOOO much dmg but in games they tickle.(always have) and i mean physical atk not the mb crap most sins use now a day.

 

in retail you can get the divine coloseum gears.. its not hard it just needs time and everything works perfect.. no bugs..

the instances have the same cd as in gamez and in order to get medals you go fort raids

 

High end manastone rate on eternal gears will make you cry.

 

some instances you take for granted as super easy in gamez will make u cry too(ntc q_q)

Anything that was general easy to do and taken for granted, will prove the exact opposite in retail.

 

But at the same time do i of to wory about missing items bugs scammers fake AM's and so on?

I dont think it can be any worst than learning that i can use my 130k Insignia for nothing I was playing here on game for some time too a break came back a few days ago I have 62k insignia before the break now that i'm back i see the new Tac so traded my ABG sword for 65k more Insignia only to find out that i cant even use them in the game to get any items.

 

I haven't dealt with any situation as such. There are no GMs logging in the server. But gold spammers on LFG sucks, right click and block solves that problem though.

Why do you even bother to compare Lada with Ferrari? Take it as Lada = Gamez and Ferrari = Retail.

Leveling is only 1/5th of the game lol. Hope you're not a super undergeared lvl 60.

Tip if you're gona do retail. Enjoy rifting while you're 45-50. =) Or small group rifting in eltnen / morhiem.

 

yeah leveling in retail is fun u can keep it 6 months long till max

 

i do appreciate your opinion, but im totally on retail for 3 years if i count in the betas =P oh and as for lvl im 55 (sheesh yes, EU is not on 3.0 yet =< ) But as for my gear on my sin im pretty good geared flare dagger +10 (paralyze) coli sword +8 L2 conditionning (silence) (((no 10% silence! =P )))) full coli set l2 conditionning and for the accessories coli hat (55) full 50 epic accessories (pvp) and gbg belt =O working on better accessories thought.

this char is just the new one i made on the new server, my main on thor has better gear =< sad thing, i guess Gamez is even gonna update to 3.0 earlier than retail EU xD

 

simple.. why you will play on the same game that you will level up for two months (retail) that you can really level up for two hours (gamez).. same thing will happen if you get stronger on retail.. thats all! well if i really play retail i consider gw2 or b n s cause i will never play a game again.. that i already experience ><
