New to gamez

Hello all my name is Rick i'm new to gamez but have been a aion players for a few months now however lost my account on the server I was playing on because I did a PW change and something went wrong and I can no longer login, anyways like I said before new to gamez I mostly only get to play weekends and when I made my account last week the was points was 100 credits for voting now I only get 30 how come?.

also I was thinking of donating to get a new set an then I saw that $50 wont really get me anything good on this server so I just wanted to ask is it worth it to pay so much, I mean $100 is x2 what i'm use to paying for a set and it's now even 2.7 items so is it really worth it to play here?

Whether or not donating for a "full set" is worth it or not is something only you can really answer depending on what value you put on your time/money.

Will top-end PvP gear give you a fairly solid advantage in PvP? Yup

Is it required to PvP? No.

Can you get it without donating? Possible.

There is gear in-game through medals, obtained via fortress sieges in the abyss, which is fairly comparable to the top-end gear (ABG) and a few of our higher-ranked PvPers wear that quite happily. There's even a guild or two on Siel that has a massive stockpile of medals hanging around from owning forts which are distributed to their members. Ping/game knowledge play a major factor in playing the game so if you're bad then you wont stop being bad just because you've got a nice set, the opposite is also true.

If you absolutely have to have the best set it is possible to obtain via voting (takes awhile though!) or clever trading. There are several players in the game who have a few ABG sets + WoC2 wings (expensive eek) that have never donated a dime. The trick is to make some good friends, you should join a solid legion too, and then trade for profit.

But whether or not taking the shortcut is "worth it" is something only you can really answer =)

I was also told that i cant get the gear that is the same as ABg with medals and insignia's cant be used.
