Totally do not understand.

I do not understand how this is working.



You can see from the dark purple damage taken that I only took a grand total of 482 + 48 + 2,574 + 241 + 24 + 24 + 24 + 390 + 191 + 41 + 5 + 546 + 381 = 4971 damage.

How did 4971 damage kill off 7709 hp? It my first fight... I was totally fresh with HP. Anyone can explain?

 

Some skill damages are hidden in the logs sometimes, no idea why.

 

Sometimes it doesnt show up, but its not really a big deal, you died, get used to it

 

sometimes, when a person weaves in normal attacks, it doesnt show in the logs. if u check chat.log, it will show all the dmg

 

Yeah it's happened to me too... Are you sure it's hiding because I once got killed by a templar in 2sec and another time by this glad in 2secs did the calculation both times and I was like what happened to the other half of my hp? I pvp a lot and I can say a temp or a glad don't kill me that fast unless I get jumped by both ahahaha

 

Hardy har. I don't care about the dying... I cared about the half listed damage death.

Ya haha one time i was owned really fast and i looked bak at the log and only like 4k damage was done and i was like wth? Like Dementa said, some might be hidden

 

hidden or not since when can a templar 3 shot someone haha edit: well maybe he can three shot a sorc or a ranger but still I have a hard time believing he can three shot a chanter

Weirder thing is that glad that killed me was fighting two people a sorc and another glad I show up there and I got three shoted. What I find strange is a glad vs a sorc is death. Therefore a glad and sorc you start running as a glad... When you see the chanter show up full health do you try killing her with a sorc and a glad on your case? I trust the glad and sorc I was with, that's why I find this very fishy, theres no way he could have killed me without me being able to do shit.

 

Something similar happened to me and the logs showed the same thing.

 

a friend of mine took just 850 damage with his 15k HP (with buffs) temp, and died. personally i have a sneaky feeling its to do with packet loss, and the server "interpreting" what happened and killed you instead. But i might be waaaaaaaay off lol
