    Hi, I wanted to ask whether the server Gamez Aion has a license from NcSoft or whether playing on this server is illegal. It would be nice if I would get a quick and honest response.

    PS: I am from Germany so Google Translator for the win ^^

    My answer to you is No, because this server uses an aion emulator so its legal :)

    yes, but i want to know if when i play on this server maybe one day the police stand at the door!?!
    what is an emulator? why does it make the server legal?

    Stell dich doch nicht an omg. selbst auf einen illegalen server kannst du spielen da nur das Team belangt wird und nicht der spieler.

    Außerdem nutzt der server nicht die aion files sondern einen Emulator und ncsoft somit nichts dagegen machen kann. Juristisch 0 Man kann ohne bedenken spielen :pinched:

    Wel if you read the copyright correctly it isn't allowed to change anything in the client but as so far there isn't anything said of done about a server. And if it was illigaal NCsoft wil probaly first go to AU and AL. Because those provided the basics of this server.

    Of course they have a license! Just enter the game and see how all work just fine, the other way you may find a lots of bugs and problems and server crashes.

    So I can safely play on this server?
    I imagine not to but the father was raised by my colleague total cross because he says it's all illegal, and therefore he may not play. deshlab clearly please, the server is legal or illegal, one last word to me ^ ^

    If they were to change anything hard codded into the client (such as trade limit) then it would be illegal. But seeing as they havent done this then no its not illegal. And if ur police come to your door b/c of a game, then they are really really bored.

    The german police have better things to do than arrest people for playing MMOs.

    Like accepting bribes. Pretty much every single police force in the world is busy doing that.
