Best Class for PVP?

Hello guys, im new in AION, i used to play others games like L2, PW and i just left L2 to give a try in AION.

I have a question:

Whats the best class for pvp?

Every class is good on PvP , depends on the person that is playing it.

 

Just play Spiritmaster if u ask questions like that.

I never played this game before, i know its a noob question but im noob in AION

I played PW and L2 for more than 6 years but AION its all new for me hehe

 

I also played PW since it came out.

 

Yeah i played PWI for a longgggg time, i had a wizard lvl 101 in sancutary

 

Spirit Naster, fear bomb b*tches D, and they remove buffs and ur useless when u fight them 1 vs 1 and they fear lock u

play sm... u even dont need good gear to pwn each class in 1x1

 

try sorc it's more fun then SM

 

More fun.... but can a sorcerer FEAR!! NO!

 

You will get little to no kills in pvp as an SM and will be the number one target of all the enemies. My best suggestion is to try what sounds best to you.

Gladiator - High DPS class, focuses as offense as it's best defense and triumphs in group pvp thanks to AoEs
Templar - High Defense class, great class to play when you are still learning on what to do, they are ridiculously hard to take down and if played right can absolutely destroy in 1v1s.
Cleric - Focus's on heals, everyone wants a cleric in their party, they can cure and their heals can be ridiculous support for both themsleves in solo pvp and for their partners in group pvp.
Chanter - Somewhat of a hard class to start out with, I have never personally played chanter so I couldn't say from experience, but they are the hybrid of classes, they can heal, DPS, tank, use magic skills and physical skills. Their main focus are their buffs, which can be extremely awesome.
Ranger - The fast class, they are all about kiting, laying down traps, out-distancing your target and bursting them with arrows. Their main focus is quick hard damage while staying distant from the target.
Assassin - The class in the dark, they rely on staying in stealth mode until the time is right, they will come out of hide and do rapid attacks that can absolutely decimate anyone. Their main advantage is their stuns, which if used right, can lock anyone down until death. Their pvp style is carving and detonating, you can do certain skills that will add a carve to the person, which can go up to 5. The more carves you have on someone, the more damage/accuracy a certain detonation will do, either stun, silence, aether hold, etc.
Sorcerer - They drop the bombs out of the skies and never want to be ignored. They rely on heavy damage, but extremely low defense. They can use CCs to keep their enemies at bay as well as blowing the shit out of them.
Spiritmaster - The most hated class ingame, they rely on fear and debuffs to fight. The SMs can be played low geared, but will be more focused then any other person due to how detrimental their fears are in PvP. The SMs can be used if you want someone to die, but not necessarily if you want to kill them. They lack heavily in DPS, but are well wanted in a group to take down larger amounts of people.

Pick which you want, you can't really go wrong in any of them.

 

I play every class and they really are all fun. It just depends on what you like to do. The good thing about this game is it takes 30-40 minutes to cap so you can try out all the classes. Just based on in-game stats Rangers are the kings of pvp, the ranking lists have more rangers than any other class. I personally love both the assassin and ranger classes. All the ppl saying spiritmasters are great probably don't actually play spiritmasters, they are good in groups but 1v1 they are S L O W killers and rarely kill anything so don't go with that if you're looking for easy kills. Yeah they fear but it takes a group of others to clean up the feared enemies and it's true, if I see a spiritmaster they are the first I kill so you'll be enemy #1.

It's not that there is a perfect or best pvp class, you're basically asking us what YOU would like the most or be the best with. Obviously we can't answer that question for you. So try them all and btw welcome to the best damn game on the planet.

 

There is no such a thing as best class but for me..i enjoy templar..

 

You might want to search in Google all the classes available in Aion, read the classes' description and with that it might help you decide what kind of class suits you best and a class that you might find enjoyable to play (depending on your gameplay).

All classes are good for PvP. It just really depends on how you are going to use and handle the class. But in my personal opinion, for a new comer like which seems to not have friends to PvP with or legion (you might want to consider that so you can have people in-game that can help you), you'll probably going to PvP at first as a soloist. And Ranger or Assassin is pretty much advisable for this since these classes do not need a group to enjoy PvP. I am not saying that other classes are not good in solo PvP. It is just, if you are not yet well geared then it is hard to survive with other classes. But then.... This server is too over populated. Trying to find 1v1 is hard to find

Cleric is a class I would prefer for starters since this is an in demand class + with good PvE sets you are good to go to solo instances. It is pretty much the class that can help you get geared. But in PvP it is just a healer slave. You only heal your group and in terms of solo, you will need at least 2 sets for MR/Block and MACC since majority of the people wear MR sets, you'll oftentimes be resisted without MACC set.

 

Mortals would say that, I enjoy AM...

Jokes aside, it's basically like Yunashadow laid it out: You play what you feel comfortable manning. I main Gladiator, and I can kill pretty much anything, but feel the most comfortable going for the greens (Rangers and Sins). I like the versatility the class has, with its ability to wield any melee weapon (swords, daggers, maces, bows, greatswords, spears), which makes it easy to adapt to what you want to do or who you need to fight. It is also pretty much the only class I've bothered getting into, and I don't regret it.

Just as I feel the Gladiators are the best class out there due to their versatility, you might feel Sorc or Chanter are your classes due to different reasons. My ONLY advice when it comes to choosing your class is: Do NOT go for what you think is the most OP class, go for what class calls your attention because of what it can do. I've seen people go through so many classes just cause they hear "oh, Sins with MBoost can kill anything" or "Sorcs with Glacial Shards can nuke everyone"..worst mistake ever and you'll only end up jumping between classes undecided on what the hell you want to do.
