i give up

i pissed off updating/repairing over and over again, i give up..lot of errors...ddo i need to uninstall ncsoft and install it again the whole ncsoft? do i encountered errors again when i installed the whole :C waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa can some help me how to fixed this error since i updated my ncsoft to 3.0.0.3

 

initialize RD failed used to happen when people screwed up a downgrade and had missing files in their bin32 folder coz they deleted it instead of overwriting

id say its bout time some1 uploaded their 3.0.0.3 bin32 so people can play around with it many issues related to it

go to ur bin32 folder and count the files, there should be about 60 of them (including the one folder)

 

in bin32 i got only 30 something but including bin64 yea it 60

 

bin32 by itself should have 60 files so ur missing files as i thought, repair should give them to u (assuming ur aion client is not running and maybe run ur ncsoft launcher as administrator)

otherwise get a bin32 folder from somebody else

Well, the good sir Alente considers suggestion as trolling just wow. Someone needs to get some sleep over there.

Anyhow, I had the same problem and what I did is to re-install the NCSoft again from the beginning and it solved my problem. Also make sure that you will use the original item.pak, not the 2.7 one.

 

what you mean by original item.pak?

 

Well, in the v2.7 you were using the fixed item.pak in order to see the content of the game in v2.7. Just delete it and that's all - this is in case if you are just gonna change your bin folder. If you are gonna re-install it then just ignore my suggestion. xD

 

dont have to start from scratch, he just needs the rest of the files for his bin32 folder and itll work, anybody can upload that, saves a lot of time

he means just hte one in data\items, leave data\usa\items empty, its easier for testing until u know ur client works. one less issue to worry about

 

True that, but if you want to be sure 100% that it will work like charm you just throw one re-install and the problem is gone. I took the bin folder from another PC which was working fine w v3.0 but it didn't work on mine that's why I had to install the game again.

 

i have 51 items in bin32. someone have to upload the 3.0 bin! DO IT!

 

If you can wait like 6 more hours then I will upload mine as I'm currently at the office. =/

Well, it would help a lot if someone from the staff would upload the bin32 for the players, in the meanwhile instead of sending out invalid infractions.

Anyways, I are going to check the forums after work, if the bin folder won't be uploaded yet, I will upload mine.

hmm wierd as i got new PC i downloaded and installed new fresh everything and when it was installing aion client i got weird error and couldnt procced instalation...it was like smth missing but hwo that can be if i downloaded all from NCfail launcher Redownloading again gona look what will hapen now

 

My bin 64 is empty is that a normal thing? While my bin 32 has 51 files in it. Dont know exactly cause im still updating my client,first try failed..

bin64 was empty in 2.7 so ur probably not done updating yet. it has files in 3.0 but wont work with gamez anyway, already tried

51 files is more like it since some get created after u run the game. ull see if the game runs once u actually update
