Sorcerer damage

    With new skill with 6k damage, full buffs (magic accuracy +2700 and mb also up) i lay on enemy only like 2.7k. It happens every time.

    I tried it on mr temps and glads, then tried it on regular atk/accu/crit plate glad but every time i get only 2.7k damage.

    I have ABG, but when i see that damage it feels like im attcking with Flame harpoon or some lame attck, not the one every1 is talking that has 6K DAMAGE. >->

    P.S. im not so pro so if this is all my nab mistake srry... I just want to know is this a bug or there is a way to fix it.
    My build is mr and macc :/

    Just because the description says 6k damage doesn't mean it'll deal 6k damage. The skill has an innate mechanism to deal only ~65% damage on players. Compared to most skills that deals 50% damage on players. Like I mentioned in the other thread, use Inferno and compare it with Storm Strike on a player, you'll notice both skills deal similar damage.

    PS, this also applies to Lightburst/Shadowburst, which was actually stated in the 3.0 patch notes.

    yeah and that sux... but i have seen some people cast like 8-9k damage on other players with 1 skil :O

    maybe hes just a low gear player i hit also 2k+ on storm this magic suppresion is a pain in the @

    yeah, but it pisses me off that i cant put half damage of the skill i use on player with same gear <.<

    i have noticed that glads are more powerfull than beforeand specially against sorcs,dont know if its a bug or smthing or glads do have more mr in the new patch.

    hmm i did with new nuke skill 8,120 crit dmg on Glad 2 days ago and 7,5 k dmg on sorc sin and ranger templar 3 days ago :)

    what gear u got and what gear were they?
    i can cast 8k damage on sw, but on abg its only miserable 2.7

    i do 4k+ non crit damage on that skill with 2k MB unbuff.

    and i still dont feel the magic suppression when i pvp last night :D, i think im just lucky i didnt encounter a player with the new 3.0 set on

    It's your build that makes your attack weaker. You do realize Magic Boost matters for a sorc specially in this version where Magic Supp was introduced. Also your 2.7k magic accuracy doesn't help to increase your damage unless it crits. Having a Magic boost-Magic Acc set combo is a good choice as well instead of Magic Res-Magic Acc combo.

    Having 2k+ MB is a must for a good DPS I think.

    a templar can buff supression even with out gear. so for you to know we have new buff +700 supression..

    im using ABG jewel and i have GPP set mb ma mixed and they were ABG geared for sure :)
