    Yes you do, but you don't need to be Rank 1 to wear accessories.

    I am one of those who rush and actually save their asses everytime, don't worry. I've fought a whole damn zerg alone countless times because the pack of 30 elyos behind me is afraid of 10-15 asmos. Afterall, they're gonna lose 100 ap for nothing.. they better run, with mounts too. lmao

    Ontopic: Just get there and ask for a group buddy, make sure it has rangers with mau forms in it and you'll eventually get some ap.
