No game server is available to the authorization server

Hi, I am unable to play the aion after upgrading the system to Windows 8. The game doesn't go beyond authentication screen. Getting this error 'No game server is available to the authorization server' all the time. I have updated the Gamezaion installer too. Please help. Regards, Irfan (gurupak)

 

You mean Windows 7?

Try reinstalling your client, I think that the data you installed was meant for Windows XP or w.e. version you had before, so it's not supposed to work on Windows 7.^^

 

What kruno said, i also believe that the client's files differ from an operating system to another.

Also, Windows 8? O.O I thought they would release that in July 2012 u.u You must mean windows 7.

Anyways.. i searched it up on google and only found some weird solutions(Deleting xml files, adding some ip in some files manually, etc) which actually prevent you from using a ping reducer and some other stuff, tho i remember people having this issue long ago and most of them solved it, just can't remember how (u.u)

I think it was some sort of .bat file which worked as a launcher, we could download it from www.gamezaion.com/GamezAION.rar
I don't know if it works with the new updates, also, that was uploaded there long ago. Still worth a try imo!
I mean, i do suggest you reinstall the client on your new windows but try that launcher first, might save your time

 

People have been getting their hands on windows 8 lately. If nothing else works (trying what the other 2 users posted, repairing your client, etc.) I would advise you to downgrade to Windows 7.

It might be a problem with windows 8's networking structure, where we would have to update our launcher in order for the client to work with Windows 8, but I'm just speculating here.

In any case, let us know what works for you, or if something works for you at all.

Hi guys,
I have upgraded the system to Windows 8. Also tried all fixes that are mentioned on the site to fix it. But all in vain.

It is possible that the Windows 8 network settings are changed which GamezAION launcher is not taking care. It works till authenication of username and pass, if i give wrong password it give me error but when correct is given it start displaying this error.

I hope gamezAION will fix this in the launcher. As this is something coming in near future.

All I can think of is what they said up there ^

Idk maybe reinstall your Aion then repair your client?

 

Btw, about the repair stuff. I don't have the NCSoft installer on the system, it was installed on a Windows 7 machine, then i copy it to another machine with same Windows 7 on it, i just ran the launcher and it worked fine.

But after i upgraded the machine to Windows 8, it stopped working.

please tell me, if i just install ncsoft installer again, will my previous download will remain there? And how can I repair it after installing the ncsoft installer? Is there any way to point the installation directory in it?

I'm not sure if it will be there or not; just right on the down arrow for Aion and you should see Repair.

 

check if client is set to north america, if not chance it and afterwards repair it
