Anyhow, many strong points in this thread and if Carl will let Alente to take the role to defend the Admins, will just lose every respect I have for Carl as human being.

I've known how this "system" works long before you even joined here buddy, and no the GM's do not get paid. Sure they get in game items and crap but the only ones who ever see the money for this server are the admins.

Actually he can still can as all private servers are technically illegal and it's even illegal to play on them. A lot of them get shut down and their owners get in serious trouble but it's all mostly based on how much the main company cares about them. I remember not too long ago hearing in the news about WoW server being shut down and the owner fined over 50k to pay back all the money he made from the "donations". And if they really wanted too they could go after the players as well, but most don't because the companies consider it too much of a hassle to go through all the court processes and pay the super high lawyer fees and whatnot.

 

As stated before (don't remember the exact name) people would shut up if the server was at least working properly.Recently updates dropped down to 1 per month and a half and after a major update such as 3.0 that is really bad we don't even have 15% of it working right.Would like to see alente's answer to it (no hate intended just curious if devs quit or anything).About donations - nobody is forcing you to do it AND to pay for an entire set, the prices are getting higher, but alente is right: it would make the "old donators" who payed lets say 100$ for an abg mad because the current items (or, god forbid 4.0 gear) are the same price.Yet it is still a bad idea to increase the prices with 500 each time we get better gear (aion having major updates once a year), also some things in the shop look like a pure scam to me, for instance: major divine life/mana potions 10 of them are 1k credits and easily bought with a single kill, hell some people are struggling to get rid of them, also enchantment stones, manastones and etc.Something else @ the Credit Shop - ncc gear, the base stats are worse than abg, but the bonus stats make up for it which means it is slightly inferior to it, yet it has a higher price.It would be a good idea to at least replace it with the lvl 60 gear.And the recipes (not sure if these are intentional) what was the point of making them require daily tokens on a high rate server? I see nothing wrong with fixing every single instance and removing the cooldowns on it to give new players a chance, it won't harm donations (just remember 2.1 everyone had anuhart and due to that it wasn't tradeable for credits, which would encourage people to donate since it will be harder to obtain the payed "elite" items via trade while keeping everybody with good enough gear to give them a fair chance in pvp)

 

And this thread will end up w Alente to lock it. He will post a last reply saying that some points will be considered, although everything is perfect and great on Gamez servers, the game runs smoothly, the drops are more than enough, the bugs are few and the existing ones are being worked on by the ghost Devs.

Oh, I love Gamez because it stays the same to its values. One of the values is to make this server seem second retail w zero bugs and amazing gaming experience even now. =)

Not sure why I bothered wasting my time replying to this last night considering only one or two people actually even attempted to respond to that.

Seems I mjsjudged this for a discussion thread looking to talk with us evil admin folk when really people just wanted somewhere to complain and vent I particularly liked the posts after mine stating we'd never respond, nice to know you read the thread!

Will likely lock this when I get outta bed. Those of you throwing insults at eachother can expect infractions.

Btw it's already dead. I'm a really really old player here on gamez been here for about like 2years and a half. Before there was so many many players online, now I just logged in and there is barely anyone

Dude, Alente, once again you say that people complain in this thread while they show you their disappointment in Gamez and how Carl decides to run it. The community is no just a whining kid who likes to demand this and that. This community has seen a lot and it demands to be taken seriously, not as lightly as the greenies have been doing and continue to do so.

At the same moment when the server goes from just bad to worse than many other pirate servers, you still have the nerve to raise the prices on the new items because you know that people have one weakness to buy instantly anything that is new and shiny. But look at the points of the people in this thread:

- You don't improve the server, you just raise the prices
- You don't serve the community fairly, but you like to judge people who better server on which they invest their time, money
- You intentionally deny the fact that the drops rates were dis-creased and that many drops were removed in order to be sold in the CS
- You deny to accept the fact that many players are getting banned because you can't fix major bugs
- You deny to fix the dungeons and people are being obligated to donate for the sets in CS

When I say 'You', I refer to the whole package of the people who manipulate the server, its CS and are in charge of the coding process. Don't flatter yourself, I don't mean only you.
