About Crystal Merging to Lumiel

As far as we know from discussion on this matter. Credits are being transferred, as last I was informed on this issue, it would be rather silly to not transfer them with the Crystal account wouldn't it?

im crying T_T, i tried so hard to keep the server alive T_T.

 

After talking to some ppl ingame we decided to make a legion for old crystal players on ely side, i hope as many as possible will join so we can continue to stick together and grow :w00t: I suggest someone wil do the same on asmo side too :wink:

Also, anyone knows what time the merge will occur?

 

I think you have made a good decision, Lumiel desparately needs some good Elyos players (my opinion though). :3

even when we take them back so many of them they can take in back in less than a week
heiron zerg out of this world dont get me started on gelk.....

Thank you for the reply Puddles. I appreciate it. I also asked Vildiil via PM and he told me the same thing. Hopefully there will be no changes with their decision regarding the transfer of credits since I am not planning to spend it

I never really had any plans on playing Lumiel even though I have a Chanter and Sorcerer there. The fact that I prioritize more my Siel characters made it harder for me to get items in Lumiel (I never tend to spend my 1,500 credits too just for transfer since that would be already enough for me to keep my VIP status running) and it's a really good deal that I am now able to have a full ABG/EAC geared character in Lumiel without exerting too much effort for it (my months of voting in Crystal surely has a pay off).

To give definitive answers to the questions raised here:

Yes we are aware that there will be potential naming conflicts with characters/accounts merging into Gamez from Crystal, the system is being designed with those eventualities in-mind so it shouldn't be an issue.

At this stage I see no reason why we wouldn't ensure credits are transferred over as well though I really must remember to test that before we push things live.

We are currently intending to have merges begin tomorrow (the 18th of July)

We will not be offering direct transfers from Crystal to Siel, Lumiel was chosen as the destination as that server is far closer to Crystal in terms of design particularly around the Stigma system. Newly transferred Crystal players can of course shift from Lumiel to Siel afterwards via the transfer system.

Premium status should be transferred also although this has yet to be tested.
