Alente, remember when these forums used to be fun? Doesn't work if every half-interesting thread is deleted randomly for no reason.

doesn't work when the members trash talk about the admins lol... blame Moro for Breeze's last deleted thread as well, and I do believe there's a pattern here lol. 10+ pages or so of random chatter and something happens for us to delete the threads. think about it, it ain't so hard =P

 

I missed what Moro said, what did he do? Also, since when have I insulted anyone? And who the hell is Breeze? And what pattern? The thread I made was me joking that I was Batman since there's that BruceWayne guy going around saying that. There was nothing wrong with it, yet it also got deleted. Without any explanation. I can show you threads that were much much worse that were actually closed with reasons given. Is that so much to ask?

Plus, you shouldn't use some straw man argument to try and justify something that isn't right even if any of the things you said were true.

 

They're so obsessed with deleting random chat threads that they don't even care about the bots >: So pro!

 

I was just leaving a message for this new guy, SirJoseph about the stuff that used to happen on these forums. Plus, I never even got to say hi to Alente. I was hoping he'd drop in that thread so I could. I haven't talked to him in over a year, when he stole my name on the server and went on a killing spree -.-

I really had no inclination to try and come back here. I just stumbled onto this forum by accident one day, and then that @Alente thread popped up. It was fun seeing all the old faces that I used to talk to around there, and it was a fun thread. I don't know how anything but advertising justifies a complete thread delete (versus locking, moving thread, or just deleting the post in question).

The way any interesting thread is deleted for no reason is disheartening. This forum is in a sad state, and Alente seems to not be in the building either. If this has been going on for a year, it's not hard to see why so many people left.

Either way, anyone who knows me knows I have a thing for starting up huge drama bombs, but that wasn't the point of this thread. I just wanted to figure out who was deleting my threads because they don't even have the self-dignity to identify themselves. I think I'll leave soon enough, for anyone who actually cares. This is a far cry from the forums that existed in 2010 or even the beginning of 2011 when things used to be interesting and latest posts didn't show only tech questions or reports from hours ago.

 

I miss the good old days too. :c

My other thread has been deleted? Do the current mods here follow some religion or something that is against just cleaning the bad posts or moving the threads to hot spam if they get a bit too off topic?

It was actions like this that led to some of that shit ton of drama last year. It's one thing to expect a clean forum and to delete individual posts, close or move threads, and give out infractions as needed but just ninja deleting thread after thread without so much as an explanation is pretty much just giving the community whose donations make this server even possible the middle finger and saying "**** You"
