Cleric on 3.0

So how is cleric on pvp now? I've never played him offence. Imagine a cleric full EAC and tell me. What's his pros and cons? What manastone build would you suggest?

A full ACD/EAC M.Res builted Cleric is nearly impossible to kill these days.

While a full mr cleric is nearly impossible to kill it is also a poor offensive setup. While you can resist alot if not most of the magical attacks sent your way, you have 90-95% of your attacks resisted (even with Sacrafical power). You Will need to hybrid build or rely on two sets. I rely on a hybrid mr/ma build switching between staff and shield/mace depending on the situation.

 

MA/MB Build for cleric is derp, whole set should be M.res including the shield and mace and NHDE staff as secondary weapon with MA Manastones.
Also EAT Chain set = full M.acc is great.

 

Full EAC/ACD Cleric with MR build is quiet OP especially when played well...
Set + Shield + Hammer = MR
Staff (NHDE) = MA

a 2nd set for MA/MB would be nice as well
and a 2nd hammer & Shield for Block

 

There are more staff than NHDE/NSDE for clerics nowadays, like Kahrun..

 

i personally think class is one of the class that was benefited a lot in 3.0.
tbh, before they werent a big of deal but now they scare me so much.

Especially i am temp, it is so hard for me to kill clerics.

Anywayz to answer yar question yes, cleric is deadly in pvp.

and i always recommend mr sets and prepare a secondary set for offensive like MA XD

MR Food,full emental scrolls,fine antishock scrolls,nhde glasses,full ACD Gear with acd shield and mace,everything Full MR. NHDE Staff as secondary weapon,turn on and off the sacrificial power,when needed. You should do well. I get 2k MA And 2300 MR with NHDE Staff Full MA Fused to another NHDE or HDE Staff + FULL ACD. 2500 MR with shield and mace but significantly lower MA. You could have a secondary eac set for MA/MR Build.

With 2500,can resist some,not all. SMs cant be resisted much.

 

Cleric MA/MB suck on this server's. Make your build MR cuz where ever u go u will find sorcs

 

How all the other players said, Acd/Eac full mr with a secondary ma set is the best way to get an op cleric.

About the stigmas you should go for Healing servant+ripple of purification and other support stigmas like the 3.0 Hp-saver.
go for Punishing earth as dps skill, will be op with the new 3.0 lighting....damage is like call lighting but lesser cd = win.
Noble grace might be usefull, but the cd is so long....
Sacrifical power is really an awesome stigma, allows you to siwtch to offensive mode in 1 click...sadly you can focus on your healing cause of that -250 healing boost.

I'd suggest you to start with a chain set full mr with mace and shield, then get a cloth set as dps set (full ma) + staff.

never heard about greater healing pots?

root them, cover your silence, let them use Remove shock, lock them in mid-air with Aether's hold and dps em down.

 

^I'd recommend that if you want to play support cleric.
It pretty much sums up my build, glad to see I'm not alone in my logic.
