Anyone want to try Rift?

I'm not sure if you were the one that said you were playing or not but I just pre-ordered Guild Wars 2 Digital Deluxe yesterday o: took me a while to finally work up the $ for it but glad I have that out of the way.

 

Darksiders 2 is badass as is Kingdoms of Amalur which is a lot like Darksiders 2, except minus the horsmen. All sports games however suck and are a complete waste of time. Games are about doing awesome things that you CAN'T do in RL. Such as going on epic quests to fight monsters and save the world and whatnot. If I wanted to play basketball, I'd get a basketball, get some friends, and then go outside and play basketball. Not sit on my ass and play a damn basketball game.

No, I find most shooting games to be rather meh, except for Gears of War where you have chainsaw guns, and Tribes where you have jetpacks and can go really fast and doesnt afraid of anything, and Halo 4 looks cool too.

This guy is very interested in Rift Lucent. You should give him a code.

I plan to get Guild Wars 2 but first I need to get my Hall of Heroes from Guild Wars 1 done.

I'll be playing Guardian and thief (maybe others too) on Ehmry Bay. Unfortunately I'll be out camping the weekend of prelease but I should be back in time for normal release, even though I prepurchased it :x

I gotta make sure my mom or dad signs on and gets my names for me!

Guardian is insanely fun with greatsword + sword/torch or sword/shield. Thief is just all around fun and they have epic burst damage but when they run out of initiative they don't do enough damage :X

 

I never got to play the BWE e.e But oh, I've heard good things about Guardian too. And oh, so you liked the Engineer? *~* I heard a lot of mixed reviews on it.

Anyway yeah, I'm going to be a water/air focused Elementalist, and probably have a necro as my first alt, not sure what it would specialize in yet.

 

It's a bit weird. They lack the weaponry of most classes, being that they can only use pistols, shields, and rifles. They make up for that with "kits" as you may know. Their kits are pretty much good for most situations. Healing kits, Flamethrower kits, bomb kits, etc. They are definitely fun if used properly, at least methinks they are. They are definitely more for support/dps though.

Me and Selik have been debating servers a bit but we may end up on Isle of Janthir. I'm thinking between that, Jade Quarry or Fort Aspenwood.

Selik was originally on Kaineng (typical asian o: ), but that got removed and then in BWE3 we were on Sanctum of Rall but that had terrible PvP, I think we were lowest in all the WvWvW matchups we had over the course of that beta weekend.
