Sadly, most people don't even know this.

For the record:

Normal gm's cannot ban/spawn item's/remove items from a players inventory. (Remember the muffler events? Always needed an administrator on).

They however can jail a player/use godmode/teleport people.

 

The reason why normal GMs can't ban is because hitkill abused his powers when he was a GM. He's the reason why the GM restriction power list was added.

 

When Angal/Edixoid left all GMs had the power to ban.

We can Imprision them Until Alente or a Higher up GM can Confirm then they are banned. So In other words, we have the ability to stop them from doing it until A high Up Gm/admin can Re-view the proof.

We need gm that know what they doing,that not abuse powers and trustfull people...
If admin of this server promote ppl,i think he trust no?So give the powers to ban..
Guys i dont know if you notice,but the server have bad problems ans increasing in number every days, Scammings,speedhackers,bugabusers...this server need to be cleaned and if gm have no powers no one can clean.

I just saying,give a chance, if they abuse of gm's powers just make them normal players again..we need trust in someone..

 

Oh, Guys and for your Information Thats what most GM's are in Games. I wasn't able to Ban anyone in Ragnarok, I was able to suspend them for weeks at a time. I had to Escalate my findings to the next tier and they would at that time choose if he should be banned or not.

It was increased to L2 access last night because of the new GMs we're bringing in, giving ten people we don't really know the ability to permanently expel players from the game seemed like a rather risky gamble.

GMs have sufficient powers to remove and contain players until a HGM/Admin can issue a full account closure.

This thread's been rather derailed though I must say.
