What up with the Haven?

Whats up with the safe zone in Arbolu's Haven. Its all blocked off for some reason And I haven't seen any posts about it on here.

Anyone be able to shed some light? It's been closed off for a few hours now, i'm just curious.

Because the rule of permanently banning people for aoeing in a safezone is absolutely ridiculous, removing the safezones access was the next best option.

 

atking ppl with an aoe in a safezone is stupid, and ppl like that are the kinda people who ruin the server..

 

I wonder what kind...

I liked the safe zone, man and I was just starting to record all the people AoEing in there and I was going to make a funny video, damnit...

 

The safe zone is an unneeded addition to this game. I am a pvper, and if you dare run away from me into a little safe zone, I will come in and kill you. You should not be able to pewpew at the edge of the safezone and then just run in when your hp gets low and be safe.

Banning for killing in the safe zone was the most ridiculous thing I had ever seen. The amount of players that don't read the forums that would get banned would be unbelievable. If they were getting tired of punishing players for doing it, they should have just said so what? Why do we need a safe zone? Why does anyone need to go into a safe zone anyway? Making it an AoE DPS restriction allows you to get your health back while still being at a risk of being killed is the perfect way to compromise the concept of the safezone. It doesn't completly detract from the pvp aspect of the game while still alleviating you of being ganked by Storm Strikes.

 

-shrug- I liked it because I am not a big pvper. I like to sit and watch people, talk with others. I just found them amusing and a good time waster to just sit there and not have to worry about being ganked [even though it happened a lot]. I prefer there to sanctum, better atmosphere and less lag. I just liked having an area where I could "safely" watch people pvp and waste my time.

 

As nice as that sounds, we have youtube for that. World pvp shouldn't be able to be spectated on unless you are vulnerable to dying too.

 

Well that's you're views then. I just see it differently because I like lurking, plus I like to watch pvp in action and how its done, it helps me learn and I've picked up on a few things by just watching. If nothing else fix the bug that allows AOE attacks to hit. Problem solved.
and besides youtube gets boring after a while, there's only so much on there that I care to watch. And pvp on youtube is so...I dunno...they only show the best things, they hardly ever show fails and they show crazy stuff, I was true pvp that uncut and uncencored.

 

Make a sin, Shadow Walk, problem solved. That way you can move around instead of having the site of pvp only outside the 3 safe zones. Learning from youtube is actually quite good, just need to find the right videos for the right classes.
