Do check it out. While there is a decent amount of fighting, with the best being at the very beginning and the very end, it really is an amazing story and beautiful animation. Even if you're not a big fan of the fighting(and if you're not THE HELL'S WRONG WITH YOU!?) you will still enjoy the story. The fighting itself is also beautifully animated and mostly realistic with many of the movies and techniques usable in real life and is really much better than the usual anime fights which are all special effects and people pulling super moves such as bankai out of their ass when they're just about to lose.

In fact the main character Nanashi doesn't even draw his sword until end fight in one of most greatest anime moments of all time when the main theme kicks in and rushes to save the day.
