How to Survive on Gamez Aion

This is a short, but very crucial topic I believe that most people who come into this community may benifit from.


#1: The most basic and importaint thing for anyone considering a private server is to VOTE REGULARILY!

No, this does not mean every 12 hours... you don't have to become obsessive compulsive over it. But realise that this is you're key to getting donation gears for relatively no work.



#2: Attempt to attend events. Despite what many people may think, they are not a "waste of time".




#3: If you level in anywhere other than Theobomos (Elyos) or Brusthonin (Asmodian); you're response to being ganked should not remind me of this video:

If you level outside of those zones you are more than likely to be raped by multiple 'pro players: we rock what we got' (secretly, we all know they are horrible players and poorly endowed lonely people in real life who can only get joys from leeching time off others). But you didn't hear that from me .




#4: DO NOT TRADE ANYTHING THAT IS PvP LEVEL 50 + FOR KINAH.
Unless, of course.... you somehow find a way to make it profitable and an asset to you in a world where I swear I am the only person who can track these buggers...

Tl;dr: Don't expect "karma" to deal with them. If you sell a valuble item for kinah it is GONE.



-------------------------How to farm kinah (For legit players)-----

Farming kinah and valubles is relatively easy on this server... there are a few good methods... let me start with listing them off and summarizing them:


1: Do DP for Anuhart gears.

2: Farming core for Elder gears (which break down to enchantment stones/are nice skins as well).

Both #1/#2 are readily avaliable for people brand spanking new.

3: Work the trade broker: buy cheap, sell pricey. = Profit...


Err wait... that was over a month ago... uhm... just ignore 3. =)

4: CRAFTING. This method will NEVER fail you. Consumables like Major potions, greater courage scrolls.. greater awakening scrolls.. dp jellies (4k dp)... etc... are VERY profitable!

I suggest going into Alchemy or cooking for consumables.

Btw: the other crafts are good if you decide to make balic gear for skins... they sell for a fair amount =).

Oh, and duh I forgot the most importaint one: DONATE AND SELL YOU'RE GEARS FOR PEOPLE'S SOUL'S. Haha, I'm just joking. Everyone knows those nyerkers duped the- *is quickly grabbed, beaten, and shoved into the back of a very shady white van by a GM*.

Also it should be known that normal aether itself is a very valuble resource as well!

Normal aether sells for about 1million per on the elyos side/ 3-4 million per on the asmodian side.

Also, large quantities can help you sell and make more profit.

#5: Use forums regularily, and if you have a special "page saving" program... set it to save all pages of the forums.. it is very useful if you want to get well informed on all the details.

The forums are a information resource.. USE THEM.

On that note... USE THE SEARCH BUTTON. (If I see one more gddmn thread about how my precious spiritmaster class is broken I will troll yo- *the gms gag me and drag me away*




#6: SCREENSHOT YOU'RE GEAR. I am being 100% blunt, if you lose an item due to a reroll or a crash/ whatever the hell else happens here YOU'RE the one responsible for it.

No, the administrators CANNOT go back and prove that you really lost an item... humanity to be honest isn't a thing that I believe them, and I, hold much trust for their integrity. (*Points to the random whore stripping on youtube* mmhm, point proven.).

So seriously, if you get valuble gear... screenshot it. THIS INCLUDES KINAH!

Here is the answer:

I'll expand with my own tricks and thoguhts on the issue, in particular on trading a person.

When you originally begin you're account character you get many tabs automatically given to you. One in particular the "Combat" tab captures all transactions you have made.

Example; if you place 999.999.999 kinah into the warehouse it will mention that you have given up 999.999.999 kinah (to the warehouse). In return if you withdrew 999.999.999 kinah it will say you gained that much.

When screenshotting having the combat tab open is also, in my opinion, supporting evidence for you're cause!



#7: TRADES.

Now this one has bitten even me before in the butt.

Biggy coming up... and follow it or it will result in you're own issue.

If you are trading item's that are VERY valuble, get a GM to assist you. (To find a GM either PM one on forums, or simply type the command //gmlist within chat and see who is on.)

NEVER, and I mean never, trade someone without a GM medium.

As I said before, humanity doesn't really have that high of levels of integrity. Never has, never will.. but nyerk this is the internet if you don't know that by now then you be one-*gm pks me irl*

Id say dont trade anything for kinah specially ABG stuff and credits. Trading kinah for the said items will only feed the ego of ignorant persons who ruined the economy because of their greed.

 

Yeah... I just had a friend pm me earlier today on msn that he had traded his ABG set for kinah and planned to get a different item set and lo and behold.. now 30b is normal price people are saying?

I saw it on a thread a few moments ago and I was like: oh hell naw... I am posting a guide NOW.

Yeah... I have been counting my blessings since 2k credits zipped up to 5billion and I was like " no way... I just geared myself for 2bil for 2k credits... what is going onn....".

Whatever it is... I am personally a bit freaked out about it.

Nice guide but about screenshooting your gear wont help you much if at all, first of GM's r never online and even if they are they just dont reply to PM's,and if you manage to get 1 respond from a GM in by spamming his forum or game he will just tell you that you should talk to Carl about it cause they cant get your gear,kinah or anything and we all know Carl is never online and if you flame me i can just tell you now iv lost an items over a week now and in those days i got 1 respond from 1 GM telling me to talk to Carl who dont answer to any PM,Email etc etc.Same thing yesterday a GM was online ingame telling ppl about lost money from warehouse that we should screenshoot losing money,now iam not a genious but lol,tell me pls how do i screenshoot lost money from warehouse please...

 

True, with more GM's online it should be more accessable for you to get one.

I trust the very capable new recruit GM's highly.

On that note, you would have to get ahold of either Carl, or a Co-admin to process you're request as they have more power over the situation.

Aside from that, I am not bold enough (or a mind-reader) to say I know they will get back you're items 100% guarantee... but at least a shot with evidence has a 100% better chance compared to saying it without proof/not even saying it at all.

I only wish there was a way to prove i just lost 7b in WH..... and no GM will help solve this... its sucking to be me atm... 7b was all my savings:\ Im now broke
